When Dogecoin and the "NASCAR on Reddit" community announced their intention to crowdfund a sponsorship for a NASCAR team, some in the sport, myself included, thought it would never happen.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP), in conjunction with DC Entertainment (DCE), has joined forces with 11-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champions Hendrick Motorsports in a unique three-year agreement that will allow the team and its partners to develop consumer promotions and original content to engage youth, drive fan excitement and energize licensed merchandise initiatives.

This weekend will mark Edwards’ ninth appearance at the All-Star Race. The Roush Fenway Racing driver has one win which came in 2011.

Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) will host the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s ‘9/11 Never Forget’ mobile exhibit at its annual spring Fan Appreciation Day on May 22nd. This marks just the second time the exhibit will be on display in North Carolina since being built in Mooresville, and unveiled last September in NC.

SHINING STARS: Four Camry drivers are scheduled to compete in Saturday night’s Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway -- Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth and Brian Vickers. Busch finished third in last year’s All-Star event while his fellow Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) drivers -- Hamlin (sixth) and Kenseth (ninth) also recorded top-10 finishes.

Ford announced the opening of its new Ford Technical Support Center in Concord, N.C. today. The state-of-the-art facility will add an array of tools to develop future performance vehicles and help increase Ford’s overall success in motorsports.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie Michael Annett will take part in his first All-Star Race weekend, taking to the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday night for the Sprint Showdown. The top two finishers in the race will advance to Saturday night's Sprint All-Star Race.

The Series heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway for Saturday night’s Sprint All-Star Race at the 1.5-mile oval. Hamlin will make his eighth All-Star appearance in the #11 FedEx Express Toyota, a non-points event reserved for 2013 and 2014 race winners, previous NASCAR champions and former All-Star Race winners.

After a three-year absence from the Sprint All-Star Race, Martin Truex Jr. returns to the prestigious event, which will be contested Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
