NASCAR and Twitter announced today a unique digital partnership that will create a new way for the sport’s millions of fans to experience what happens inside NASCAR and its teams on race day.

Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Fastenal Ford Fusion, is the defending winner of the Sprint All-Star Race. He answered questions from the media after practice for tomorrow night’s annual event.

It was announced today that Monster Energy will sponsor Kurt Busch and the No. 51 Chevrolet of Phoenix Racing in Saturday night’s NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

Big Win for Dale Jr. – Dale Earnhardt Jr. hasn’t won a race since 2008, and he knows that any win – including this weekend’s non-points NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race – would provide a huge boost.

Six Ford Racing drivers are currently guaranteed a spot in the Sprint All-Star Race Saturday night. Defending winner Carl Edwards, along with Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle, David Ragan, Trevor Bayne and Marcos Ambrose are all in the field after posting wins in either 2011 or 2012.

For NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers and teams, Charlotte Motor Speedway race weeks are busier than most during the 36-race schedule. Take JTG Daugherty Racing driver Bobby Labonte for example.

Points will not be on the line for Roush Fenway and Sprint Cup Series in this week’s Sprint All-Star Challenge, so RFR will not have to worry about holding on to NASCAR’s top-two position.
