NASCAR Cup Series

The All-Star event kicks off Saturday with a pre-race concert from Country Music Artist Dierks Bentley, presented by Budweiser.

JEFF GORDON, NO. 24 DUPONT CHEVROLET met with media and discussed strategy for the 600, recent safety issues, the All-Star race, Race Control, and more.

Clint Bowyer, No. 33 BB&T Chevrolet, will start on the outside of the front row for Saturday night's NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

With a $1,000,000 on the line, drivers are ready to rumble, All-Star style. Brian France, Chairman and CEO of NASCAR recognizes that this particular event will bring out a more aggressive side of drivers.

It will be an all-Ford front row for tomorrow night's Sprint Showdown as David Ragan and AJ Allmendinger captured the first and second spots, respectively, in qualifying. Both drivers visited the infield media center to discuss their qualifying efforts."

Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Aflac Ford Fusion, will be making his sixth start in the Sprint All-Star Race and is still looking for his first win. Edwards spoke to the media before qualifying for Saturday night's Sprint All-Star Race.

The Sprint Showdown will feature an all Ford front row. Leading the field to the green in Roush Fenway Racing Driver David Ragan in the No. 6 UPS machine.
