Stenhouse has 11 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) with an average starting position of 18.1 and average finishing position of 20.4.

AJ ALLMENDINGER, NO. 47 KROGER CLICKLIST CAMARO ZL1 - RACING AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY: "Since the track was repaved last year, I think we're all still trying to figure it out," Allmendinger said. All three of NASCAR’s top touring series will be in action this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway as the Playoffs hit high gear in the next-to-last round. Here’s a look at where Ford drivers stand going into each event, in addition to some memorable Cup moments through the years.

In 105 starts at Texas Motor Speedway dating back to 1997, RCR has recorded one win (Jeff Burton, April 2007), eight top-five and 31 top-10 finishes with drivers Burton, Clint Bowyer, Dale Earnhardt, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Green, Paul Menard and Ryan Newman. Prior to Texas Motor Speedway's inaugural season in 1997, Richard Childress, a former driver in NASCAR's top division, earned a pair of top-10 finishes at the now defunct Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas. RCR Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series teams boast an average starting position of 19.3, an average finishing position of 17.6 and have completed 33,937 of the 35,019 contested laps (96.9 percent) with 148 laps led at the 1.5-mile Fort Worth-based race track.

Texas Preview: With only three races remaining in the 2018 season, the Series returns to action at the 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway for its second event there this year. In his 25 starts at the Fort Worth track, Denny has led 232 laps and collected six top-five and 12 top-10 finishes. Denny looks to improve upon his 34th-place result from Texas in the spring after a mutli-car wreck in the race’s final Stage took him out of contention.

As Martin Truex Jr. continues his quest to be one of the drivers to qualify for the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the Furniture Row Racing driver is hoping he can avoid late-race incidents which have plagued him in four of the last five playoff races.
