For Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing, Texas Motor Speedway has always been a special track on the NASCAR schedule.

The Freedom Trophy, one of Talladega Superspeedway's unique patriotic traditions, will be presented to the winner of the GEICO 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, May 1, by Daniel G. Straub, Commanding Officer of the United States Navy’s soon-to-be commissioned USS Montgomery (LCS-8), currently under construction in Mobile, AL.

In his 24 career Cup Series starts at the 1.5-mile track, Biffle has two wins, eight top-five and 13 top-10 finishes. His average starting position is 12.8, with an average finishing position of 14.9.

This Week's Nexium® 24HR Chevrolet SS at Texas Motor Speedway... Ty Dillon will pilot chassis No. 491 for this weekend's Duck Commander 500. This chassis was prepared by Richard Childress Racing and was raced last season by the No. 31 team with driver Ryan Newman at Pocono Raceway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Martin Truex Jr.’s Texas Motor Speedway weekend has a number of fun elements to it, but the most important for the Furniture Row Racing driver will be Saturday night’s Duck Commander 500 Sprint Cup Series race.

Stenhouse has six NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) starts at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) with an average starting position of 20.8 and average finishing position of 23.5.

TOP-10 PROWESS: Elliott has earned three top-10 finishes in the 2016 season, and he will look to add to that total this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. The 20-year-old driver secured his first top-10 finish of 2016 at his home track, Atlanta Motor Speedway.

After an engine failure caused by a rare part malfunction left Aric Almirola and the No. 43 team with a 40th-place finish leaving Martinsville, the team is looking to make strides this weekend in the Lone Star State. Almirola will have a full weekend of racing as he competes in both Friday night's XFINITY race and Saturday night's main event.

While Brian Scott's first Sprint Cup Series start at Martinsville Speedway may not have gone as planned, Scott and the No. 44 Albertsons/Tom Thumb team has confidence heading into the first night race of the season at Texas Motor Speedway. Texas is a familiar track to Scott in both the XFINITY and Cup Series, and one that Scott performed well in past years.

Trevor Bayne makes his 12th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. In 11 previous starts at the 1.5-mile oval, Bayne has recorded a best finish of 17th three times (Nov. 2010, April 2011 and Nov. 2011).
