In his 23 career Cup Series starts at the 1.5-mile track, Biffle has two wins, eight top-five and 13 top-10 finishes. His average starting position is 12.9 with an average finishing position of 14.7.

Trevor Bayne makes his 11th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. In 10 previous starts at the 1.5-mile oval, Bayne has recorded a best finish of 17th three times (Nov. 2010, April 2011 and Nov. 2011).

It's been one of the most popular paint schemes on the No. 9 Ford Fusion all season, and this weekend, it makes its return. SONIC Drive-In® restaurants will be the primary sponsor of Sam Hornish and the No. 9 Ford Fusion this weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway.

Aric Almirola and the No. 43 Smithfield Ford team proved consistent this season, especially at the intermediate tracks. They scored two Top-10, seven Top-15 and nine Top-20 finishes in the 12 intermediate races and posted an average finish of 15.6. Almirola leads Kasey Kahne by five points for the 17th spot in the Championship Point Standings, the top Chase spot.

The Eliminator Round in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup continues this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, where Ford’s Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano are both in need of a win to guarantee automatic advancement to the Championship 4.

Heading into this weekend's event at Texas Motor Speedway, the No.32 ZAK Products/Donate Life Texas team will travel to the "The Lone Star State" with Joey Gase for the 12 th annual AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX. Sunday's AAA 500 will mark Gase's 2nd career start at the fast 1.5-mile track, and his 7th career NSCS start. This Week's Shore Lodge Chevrolet SS at Texas Motor Speedway ... Brian Scott is scheduled to pilot chassis No. 503 in Sunday's AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. This Chevrolet SS made its debut at Chicagoland Speedway where Scott qualified 21st and finished 22nd in his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start at the 1.5-mile track. Scott also raced this chassis at Kansas Speedway where the 27-year-old driver captured a career-high Sprint Cup Series finish of 12th after starting 16th.

Stenhouse has five NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) starts at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) with an average starting position of 19.4 and average finishing position of 24.0.

What I saw at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday made me sick to my stomach. It ruined what otherwise was a good weekend at the track, the marvelous speedway that should be a blueprint for what racing should be. Everyone knows the story by now. Matt Kenseth decided to retaliate and knock the leader out of the race—on purpose. You may say I can’t prove that, but actions speak louder than words.
