In what has become a very popular "Throwback Paint Scheme" weekend at Darlington Raceway, J.J. Yeley and his JGL Racing team are proud to announce their participation and honoring of NASCAR legendary driver Buddy Baker. Yeley will pilot the No. 28 "Gray Ghost" Toyota on Saturday September 5th in the running of the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 at "The Track Too Tough to Tame".

The calendar will show it’s Labor Day weekend, but this weekend’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Darlington Raceway might seem more like a Father’s Day celebration to David Ragan and his family.

Bass Pro Shops-sponsored Tony Stewart will race a retro-inspired No. 14 Bass Pro Shops/Mobile 1 Chevrolet SS in the Sept. 6 Bojangles Southern 500 at Darlington as a part of the track’s The Tradition Returns weekend.

Throwin' It Back at Darlington...HScott Motorsports is participating in this weekend's throwback theme at Darlington Raceway. Justin Allgaier's No. 51 BRANDT Professional Agriculture throwback Chevy for this weekend was inspired by the No. 51 Cup car driven by AJ Foyt between 1977 and 1982.

Taking On Darlington...The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series travels to Darlington Raceway in South Carolina, the oldest oval on the circuit, for a 500-mile race this Sunday night. Michael Annett will wheel a throwback Pilot Flying J Chevrolet, attempting his second ever Cup Series start in the Palmetto State.

With two races remaining before the start of the Chase playoffs, Martin Truex Jr.’s current focus is winning at a track that he has penciled in with high priority since 2006, the year he began his full-time campaign in NASCAR’s elite series.

ROAD COURSE REWIND: Tundra driver Erik Jones took the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) points lead with a victory at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park last Sunday, where he was followed to the finish by Toyota drivers Matt Crafton (second) and Ben Kennedy (third).

Team Penske and The LASIK Vision Institute announced a new partnership today that will see the company serve as the Official Eye Care Provider of Team Penske. The LASIK Vision Institute will have its logo proudly displayed on the Team Penske No. 2 Ford Fusion in Richmond on Sept. 12 and the company will activate on-site at several NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events through the remainder of the 2015 season beginning this weekend at Darlington Raceway.

Texas Motor Speedway announced the addition of Service King Collision Repair Centers and Charlie 1 Horse to its family of sponsors with both signing entitlement deals for the AAA Texas 500 NASCAR tripleheader weekend scheduled for Nov. 5-8.

Ned Jarrett won the 1965 Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway by a NASCAR-record 14 laps as only 15 of the 44 cars in the race that day made it across the finish line.
