After a couple of mediocre finishes at Dover International Speedway in 2020, Matt DiBenedetto and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane team are looking at this weekend’s Drydene 400 at Dover.

The NASCAR Cup Series moves north, returning to “The Monster Mile” this weekend in Dover. Drivers will make the trip to Delaware for Sunday’s 400-mile event on the concrete oval.

This weekend NASCAR heads to the Monster Mile for the lone stop in Delaware this season for the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. The ARCA Menards Series East kicks off the action at Dover International Speedway on Friday evening.

The NASCAR XFINITY and NASCAR Cup Series will compete this weekend at Dover International Speedway. Unlike last season when the track hosted consecutive doubleheaders for each series in August, there will be only one race for each with the NXS event set for Saturday and Cup on Sunday.

Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 12 Menards Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Cup Series for Team Penske, is coming off an eighth-place finish in Sunday’s race at Darlington Raceway.

Buescher makes his 11th Cup start at Dover this weekend. In 10 prior events he has a best finish of 14th, which came in the second race of last season’s doubleheader.
