Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed and the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes/American Diabetes Association team finished 33rd at Pocono Raceway on Saturday in a rain-shortened event after blowing a tire and making hard contact with another competitor, ending the team’s day.

Bubba Wallace, driver of the No. 6 LoudMouth Exhaust Ford Mustang, improved 24 positions in the early stages of the NASCAR XFINITY Series event at Pocono Raceway before rain forced NASCAR to call the race official just past the halfway point, ultimately leading to a 16th-place finish.

Saturday afternoon’s inaugural NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Pocono Raceway was cut short due to rain, with Joey Logano the top Ford in fifth place. Aric Almirola came home 11th and Darrell Wallace Jr. 16 to give Ford three Mustangs in the top-20.

Kyle Larson battled competitors and the weather to score the victory in the inaugural Pocono Green 250 XFINITY Series race in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. The driver of the No. 42 Cessna/NTT Data Group Chevrolet received the checkered flag after the race was rain delayed and then finally called.

XFINITY Series racer Brandon Gdovic has been throughout the United States and Europe to race, but he is excited that his travels have brought him to Pocono Raceway to participate in the inaugural Pocono Green 250.

Last year on Pocono race weekend, Ray Black Jr. was driving in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. This year, Black has taken a step up to the XFINITY Series, driving the No. 07 ScubaLife.com Chevrolet Camaro for SS Green Light Racing.

While the NASCAR XFINITY Series will be making its first visit to Pocono Raceway, Dakoda will be making his sixth career start at the track known as the "Tricky Triangle". Armstrong has two previous starts at the track in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to go along with three previous starts in the ARCA Racing Series.

Ryan Preece faces another new frontier this weekend as the Xfinity Series races at Pocono Raceway in Saturday’s Pocono Green 250. Fortunately for Preece, much of the rest of the field also will see “new” at Pocono. The Xfinity Series is racing at the difficult triangular track for the first time.

Although Saturday’s Pocono Green 250 will be the first Xfinity Series race at the triangular track, Ross Chastain is no stranger there. Chastain has driven in two Camping World Truck Series races at Pocono – and done well in each. In 2012, he finished 10th, then followed that run with a fifth-place finish in 2013.
