LaJoie is a member of the JGL Racing "Young Guns" program and is considered one of the rising stars in the sport. He will make his third start of the 2016 season for JGL Racing and the ninth XFINITY Series start of his career when he climbs aboard the No. 24 youtheory Toyota at Auto Club Speedway.

Ty Dillon led the final XFINITY Series practice on Friday, closing out the sessions at Phoenix. The Richard Childress Racing driver had a fast lap of 133.087 mph on his final run out of a total of 36 laps.

Fans coming to the AXALTA Faster. Tougher. Brighter. 200 race at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday, March 12 will have the opportunity to attend a Q & A session with Jeff Gordon, the legendary former driver of the No. 24 car. The event will be held on the Main Stage on the Fan Midway at PIR and is open for anyone with a grandstand ticket.

Dakoda will be making his fifth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Phoenix International Raceway to go along with one Camping World Truck Series start at the track. Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 18th at the Phoenix track which he has done three times.
