Team Penske announced today that it has reached a multi-year extension with EnerSys, the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications. EnerSys is a premiere business-to-business partner with Team Penske and other Penske Corporation companies and will continue to maximize the relationship with hospitality at race events next season and into the future.

With funding in place, Morgan Shepherd is set to return to the high banks of Daytona for the PowerShares QQQ 300, the first race of the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. The event will mark Shepherd’s 97th race at the famed superspeedway.

GMS Racing announced today that the team would field a single-car entry in select NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) races throughout the 2016 season. Spencer Gallagher is slated to pilot the team’s No. 21 Chevrolet Camaro beginning at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday, March 12.

Officials from B.J. McLeod Motorsports (BJMM) announced today the creation of two full-time NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) teams to debut later this month at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

NASCAR®, in collaboration with broadcast partners FOX Sports, NBC Sports Group, race teams and the 29 tracks committed to hosting races for the coming season, today announced race start times and network coverage for all three of its national series based on previously released schedule dates for 2016.

After recording its most successful racing season ever as a NASCAR sponsor, Rheem Manufacturing Company (Rheem) returns as a NASCAR XFINITY Series primary sponsor for Richard Childress Racing's No. 2 Chevrolet team with Austin Dillon and enhances their program as a primary sponsor for select races on the No. 3 Chevrolet with Ty Dillon for select races. Rheem, a global leader in heating, cooling and water heating products, will serve as an associate partner on both Chevrolets for the 2016 season.
