NASCAR Penalty Report / Chicagoland Speedway

The No. 15 team has been penalized for an infraction that occurred on opening day inspection Sept.18. This is a P4 level penalty (Section 12.1, 20. 14.c, 20.14.2.1.k, 12.5.3.4.d, 12.5.3.4.1.d & f, 12.5.3.4.2 of the NASCAR rule book). Crew chief Billy W. Scott has been fined $75,000, suspended for the next three NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship events and placed on NASCAR probation for six months following the issue of suspension.

Back-to-Back Nights of Racing for Reed in Kentucky

Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed returns to Kentucky Speedway this weekend for back-to-back nights of racing. On Friday night, Reed will drive the No. 38 Lilly Diabetes Lira Motorsports Ford Fusion in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. On Saturday, he will return back to the track to race his No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang in the NASCAR XFINITY Series event.

Bubba Wallace – Kentucky Advance

Roush Fenway Racing’s Bubba Wallace makes his second career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kentucky Speedway this weekend. In his previous start, which came earlier this season, Wallace started eighth and finished seventh.

Reed has three career NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at Kentucky Speedway. In July 2015, Reed finished 14th after starting 12th. In 2014, Reed recorded 17th- and 11th- place finishes in the July and September events, respectively.
