The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the XFINITY Series head to Darlington Raceway for a Labor Day racing weekend. All on-track action can be seen on NBC, NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra. The Camping World Truck Series is off this weekend.

As part of Darlington Raceway’s ‘Tradition Returns’ program, Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed will run a retro version of the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang in Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race.

Kyle Larson makes his ninth XFINITY Series start of 2015 at Darlington Raceway on Saturday. In two previous starts at the 1.366-mile egg-shaped oval, Larson has two sixth-place finishes. He has an average starting position of 9.5 and has led two laps at Darlington. Larson finished second in his most recent XFINITY Series start, two weeks ago in Bristol.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Bubba Wallace will make his first NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Darlington Raceway this weekend.

JD Motorsports with Gary Keller announced Wednesday that the South Carolina Education Lottery will sponsor the No. 4 Chevrolet driven by Ross Chastain in Saturday’s VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway, where vintage race car numbers representing our state’s rich racing history will compete to highlight and support veterans.

Texas Motor Speedway announced the addition of Service King Collision Repair Centers and Charlie 1 Horse to its family of sponsors with both signing entitlement deals for the AAA Texas 500 NASCAR tripleheader weekend scheduled for Nov. 5-8.

Ryan Truex will make his return to the NASCAR XFINITY Series for three races this season with Richard Petty Motorsports and will pilot the No. 98 Ford Mustang for Biagi DenBeste Racing. Truex will hit the track at Richmond International Raceway for his first XFINITY start of the 2015 season.

JD Motorsports with Gary Keller announced Tuesday that, in the spirit of Darlington’s “throwback” weekend, all three team cars will have retro car numbers representing South Carolina racing history in the VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200.

Josh Berry, a two-time late model champion for JR Motorsports (JRM), has been selected to drive the No. 88 Speedco Chevrolet Camaro in the upcoming NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race at Richmond International Raceway on Sept. 11, general manager Kelley Earnhardt Miller announced today.

The month of August was tough for the No. 43 WinField team with late race accidents and mechanical issues robbing the team of good results in four of the five races.
