JR Motorsports Announces One-Race Deal with LINE-X

JR Motorsports announced today that LINE-X, North America’s largest retail automotive aftermarket franchise and leading provider of high-performance spray-on bedliners, will sponsor Alex Bowman in the No. 5 Chevrolet for the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Trevor Bayne makes his ninth NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon. In eight previous starts at the 1.5-mile oval, Bayne has recorded one win, which came in this event in 2011.

Chris Buescher – Texas Advance

Chris Buescher heads to his home track of Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. Buescher’s home town of Prosper is located just under an hour away from the 1.5-mile track. The rookie of the year contender makes his third NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. In his previous two races, Buescher’s best finish is 17th, which came in 2013.

Ryan Reed – Texas Advance

Ryan Reed will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. In his previous start, coming earlier this season, Reed started 16th and finished 20th.

Armstrong Looks to 1.5-Mile Experience to Help at Texas

Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team will return to action at Texas Motor Speedway after a two week hiatus for the Nationwide Series. Prior to the break, the series competed at two mile-and-a-half tracks and will return to another one this weekend. Armstrong and the team are looking for improvement with their mile-and-a-half program and are hoping that the consistency of competing at mile-and-a-half tracks the last two races will help them going into this weekend.

Goody’s® announced today that it is expanding its partnership with Dale Earnhardt Jr., the most popular driver in NASCAR. Beginning in 2015, and extending through 2017, Earnhardt will drive the No. 88 Goody’s car in one race each year in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.
