NASCAR O'Reilly Series

JR Motorsports announced today that LINE-X, North America’s largest retail automotive aftermarket franchise and leading provider of high-performance spray-on bedliners, will sponsor Alex Bowman in the No. 5 Chevrolet for the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Nationwide Series championship leader Chase Elliott will be looking to get a step closer to etching his name in the history books when he competes in Saturday's O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway.

Trevor Bayne makes his ninth NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon. In eight previous starts at the 1.5-mile oval, Bayne has recorded one win, which came in this event in 2011.

Chris Buescher heads to his home track of Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. Buescher’s home town of Prosper is located just under an hour away from the 1.5-mile track. The rookie of the year contender makes his third NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. In his previous two races, Buescher’s best finish is 17th, which came in 2013.

Ryan Reed will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. In his previous start, coming earlier this season, Reed started 16th and finished 20th.

Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team will return to action at Texas Motor Speedway after a two week hiatus for the Nationwide Series. Prior to the break, the series competed at two mile-and-a-half tracks and will return to another one this weekend. Armstrong and the team are looking for improvement with their mile-and-a-half program and are hoping that the consistency of competing at mile-and-a-half tracks the last two races will help them going into this weekend.

Home Sweet Home...The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) returns to action after taking a two-week break from the schedule. To start off the last three weeks of the 2014 season schedule, the series will head to Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) for the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge.

Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team travel back to Texas Motor Speedway this week for the second time this season. In 13 NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at Texas, Sadler has three top-five and seven top-10 finishes with 40 laps led. Sadler also won the pole award in 1998 and 2011. In addition, the veteran driver has 19 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Texas, with one win in 2004, a pole award in 2010, a top-five and three top-10 finishes.

For the 10th time this season, Roush Fenway Racing’s Ryan Reed has a special guest riding along with him during Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Texas Motor Speedway. The No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop DiabetesSM presented by Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang will carry the name of Ryleigh Ashford above the passenger side window.

Goody’s® announced today that it is expanding its partnership with Dale Earnhardt Jr., the most popular driver in NASCAR. Beginning in 2015, and extending through 2017, Earnhardt will drive the No. 88 Goody’s car in one race each year in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. This marks the first time Earnhardt —who has been a spokesperson for Goody’s for the past two years—will drive a Goody’s-sponsored car.
