Ryan Preece set to tackle full slate of racing schedule this weekend

While most drivers are preparing for one or two races this weekend, Ryan Preece is taking it a step further as he is set to run four races total in the span of three days. Preece will start off the weekend by running Friday's Whelen Modified All-Star Shootout at New Hampshire before heading back to Connecticut to run Friday night's Whelen All-American Series SK Modified race at Stafford Motor Speedway. Then on Saturday, he'll return to New Hampshire to return the Whelen Modified Tour Sunoco 100 and the NASCAR Nationwide Series Sta-Green 200.

McClure Looking for Solid Finish at NHMS

This weekend's 200-lap event will mark Eric McClure's 241st-carrer NNS start and his eighth at the one-mile track. In seven starts, the Virginia driver has completed 88.4% of the total laps attempted and has an average finish of 28.4. Last season McClure was on his way to earning a career-best finish when he ran out of fuel during the second attempt at a green-white-checker finish. As a result, the team posted a 31st-place finish.

Chris Buescher hit the track at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) for his first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at the two-and-a-half mile track. The Roush Fenway Racing driver had a fast No.60 Roush Performance Parts Mustang and was able to hold his ground within the lead pack after starting in third, running inside the top ten for much of the evening. After avoiding trouble during a late-race caution, Buescher was stuck in the back of the pack without enough time left to make up ground, but fought hard until the last second of a green-white-checkered finish to earn a 12th- place result.
