Fresh off his 11th-place finish last weekend in Kentucky, Dylan Kwasniewski wanted to build momentum and come home with another solid finish in Daytona. Kwasniewski and his Rockstar Energy Drink team were in position to do just that, until suffering damage when another competitor spun out coming through the tri-oval on lap 93.

Kasey Kahne barely edges out Smith for victory in Subway Firecracker 250

Throughout the race, Kasey Kahne could be found no where near the front of the field leading laps with his JR Motorsports teammates. However on the final restart with three laps to go, Kahne cut his way through the traffic after starting third and at the line, was only 0.021 seconds ahead of Regan Smith en route to grabbing the victory in the Subway Firecracker 250.
