Veteran racer Matt Carter will make his long awaited return to the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) next weekend at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway driving for the newly formed JGL Racing.Carter, a native of Denver, North Carolina will pilot the No. 93 Lone Survivor Foundation (LSF) / Guardian Digital Forensics Dodge in hopes of making his second career NNS start at the 2.5-mile superspeedway.

It was announced today that Danica Patrick will pilot Turner Scott Motorsports' (TSM) third entry in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Daytona International Speedway. Patrick, who will compete in her second full-time season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) in 2014, will be behind the wheel of the No. 30 Florida Lottery Chevrolet Camaro in the season-opening DRIVE4COPD 300. NASCAR announced several personnel moves within its Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) department, including the hiring of Tom Bryant, a 20-year U.S. Army veteran, to a new position of Director, Touring and Weekly Communications.

Keen Parts will serve as an Associate Sponsor for the No. 84 Chevrolet Camaro as 21-year-old driver Chad Boat makes his NNS debut.

Tommy Baldwin Racing has hired Ryan Preece, the 2013 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Champion, to run two races in the NASCAR Nationwide series in 2014 in the No. 36 Chevrolet. Preece will make starts at Richmond International Raceway as well as returning to New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
