When race fans think of Memorial Day weekend in the motorsports world, one thing immediately comes to mind and that is NASCAR taking to the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway for their traditional May race weekend that many consider to be the greatest weekend of motorsports all year long with NASCAR at Charlotte, IndyCar at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Formula 1 at Monaco.

This Week's Windows Surface Toyota ... Alex Bowman will pilot RAB Racing Chassis No. 42 in Saturday's History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This chassis last saw action Texas Motor Speedway last month, when Bowman qualified this Toyota Camry on the pole.

RAB Racing with Brack Maggard and driver Alex Bowman announced today that they are teaming with Microsoft Corp. for the NASCAR Nationwide Series History 300 on May 25 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

After finishing among the top-ten in Nationwide Series points from 2009-2011, Steve Wallace will attempt his first Nationwide Series start of 2013 this weekend at Charlotte. Backing Wallace's effort is Richard Tocado Companies, a Charlotte, NC-based provider of mortgage and real estate consulting services. Wallace will pilot a former Roush-Fenway Mustang in the event, powered by Roush Yates Engines.

This Week’s Foretravel Motorcoach Chevrolet Camaro at Charlotte Motor Speedway… Johanna Long will pilot chassis No. 065 in this Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) event. This chassis was last utilized at Texas Motor Speedway on April 12. The ML Motorsports team ran steadily in the top-15 for the majority of the race; however, after experiencing a loose axle cap that sent her four laps down, Long and team was forced to a 27th-place finish.

After taking last weekend off, Mike Wallace and the No. 01 JD Motorsports team are ready for battle Saturday, May 25th for the running of the History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The team will take to the track welcoming a new sponsor, Quik Trip, powered by Sun Drop.

This Saturday Trevor Bayne will try to improve on his third-place finish during last fall’s NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS).

Trevor Bayne was out at Michigan International Speedway earlier this week testing with Wood Brothers Racing in preparation for the event in June. Speeds were hitting over 200 mph as Michigan has become one of the fastest tracks since the repave last year.

Swift Response LLC, makers of Flex Seal and Flex Seal Brite, are pleased to announce the running of the No. 4 Red "Brite" and Blue Flex Seal Chevy driven by Landon Cassill, at the History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 25th.
