Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion, is the defending race winner of the Party in the Poconos 400 and currently sits 18th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings. Logano, who will be traveling between Pocono and Iowa this weekend for the NASCAR Nationwide Series race Saturday night, answered questions from the media on Friday.

Johanna Long will pilot chassis No. 063 in this Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) event at Iowa Speedway. This chassis was last utilized on April 26 at Richmond International Raceway, where Long and the ML Motorsports team registered a 15th-place finish.

Debuting for TriStar Motorsports for his first NASCAR Nationwide Series race of the 2013 season, Cole Whitt made great strides during Saturday afternoon’s 5-Hour Energy 200 at Dover International Speedway. Starting from the 20th position, Whitt set out on Dover’s 1-mile concrete surface for 200 slick laps.

There will be more on the line June 28 during the NASCAR Nationwide Series Feed the Children 300 at Kentucky Speedway than most races.
