Roush Fenway Racing has announced a multi-race partnership with Pillow Pets. The leader in plush toys will serve as the primary sponsor on Trevor Bayne’s No. 6 Ford Mustang in the May 25th Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. As part of the Memorial Day Weekend festivities, Pillow Pets will take part in Charlotte Motor Speedway’s “Welcome Home our Troops; Let Freedom Race” program, billed as the largest welcome home ceremony for returning troops.

NASCAR announced today that NASCAR Nationwide Series crew chief Adam Stevens (No. 54 team) has been fined and placed on probation for violations during this past weekend’s event at Darlington Raceway. In addition, the team’s car chief Christopher Landis has been placed on probation for the remainder of the year.

Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the No. 16 Cargill Beef Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Nationwide Series is on hand at Michigan International Speedway with his Wood Brothers Racing team, testing their car in advance of the June race at the Speedway. Bayne took time during the test to chat with media in attendance.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Trevor Bayne got tangled up in a wreck less than 25 laps into Friday night’s VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200. The No. 6 Cargill team worked hard and fast during a series of pit stops at Darlington Raceway to make rear-end body repairs and keep the car on the track. By the checkered flag, Bayne was fewer than 10 laps down from the leader and finished in 32nd place.

JOEY LOGANO – No. 22 Penske Truck Rental Mustang – “It was a hard-fought top-five, that’s for sure. I felt like we were a seventh-place car. Jeremy made a good call keeping us out there and I tried to stay in front of those Gibbs cars, but they’re so fast it was just hard to do."

Kyle Busch won the 31st annual VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200 in dominant fashion. It was his fifth win out of 9 races run this season in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS).

Kurt Busch blistered the daunting Darlington Raceway oval Friday, setting a track record en route to claiming the No. 1 starting position for Saturday night's Bojangles' Southern 500 Sprint Cup Series race.

Kyle Busch won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 31st annual VFW Sports Clips Help a Hero 200 Friday afternoon with a speed of 172.584 mph.
