Friday’s practice sessions posted a comfortable car and fast lap times for Cole Whitt and the No. 44 Ferguson Toyota Camry. Whitt qualified 19th at Iowa Speedway, but Mother Nature had different plans for what was supposed to be a Saturday night short track showdown.

Bliss’ No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry was in sync and on a roll on Sunday morning as the field took the green flag, on a green track, for the start of the race at Iowa Speedway.

After a day’s delay for rain, the DuPont Pioneer 250 got the green flag at Iowa Speedway Sunday, and Mike Wallace started the race from a deep hole.
