SR2 Motorsports just missed their second consecutive top-20 finish after Blake Koch scraped the wall in the closing laps of Saturday's Sam's Town 300 at the 1.5-mile Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway. Koch ran inside the top-20 for the majority of the the 200-lap event and proved that SR2 Motorsports will be a threat on mile-and-a-half tracks all season.

Roush Fenway Racing’s (RFR) Travis Pastrana, matched his career-best finish of 10th, Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS), overcoming a 31st starting position. The finish moved Pastrana up four spots to 11th in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) points standings.

Coming off his first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) victory of 2013, Kyle Busch continued a strong season start on Saturday by earning a second-place finish at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway, a track he calls “home.” The second-place result by Busch tied his best NNS performance at the 1.5-mile desert facility – equaling a runner-up result in 2007. He also has one NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) victory at Las Vegas in 2009.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished sixth (Austin Dillon), ninth (Brian Scott) and 11th (Ty Dillon).

SAM HORNISH JR., No. 12 Wurth Ford Mustang – TALK ABOUT HOW IT FEELS TO WIN HERE AT LAS VEGAS. “It feels great to win here. I didn’t even realize it was the Sam’s Town 300 until this morning at the drivers meeting. I said, ‘That is a pretty good one for me to win. I already have my name on the trophy.’ We had a great car all day long. From about the third lap of practice I knew we had a pretty good piece and made some small adjustments to it throughout practice and a little bit for the race and the car was real good."

Sam Hornish Jr won the 17th Annual Sam's Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for his first win of the season and his second career Nationwide Series win.

Roush Fenway drivers Trevor Bayne and Travis Pastrana finished fourth and 10th respectively in Saturday’s Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The finishes marked the 31st and 32nd NNS top-10 finishes in 42 series starts at LVMS for RFR.

Sam Hornish Jr. would dominate on the way to winning the Sam Town's 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to score his second career Nationwide Series victory. The win allows him to keep the Nationwide Series points lead.

After a strong showing in both Daytona and Phoenix, Hal Martin is excited to continue his momentum as he races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this Saturday. "I've never raced on this track before.
