During National Blood Clot Awareness Month in March, Dollar General will match the donation made by NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Brian Vickers to benefit Clot Connect, a non-profit education outreach program for blood clots. Dollar General and Vickers will donate $10 for each lap Vickers leads in the No. 20 Dollar General car in March and have each committed to a minimum gift of $2,000.

(WFG), a business unit of Transamerica, has joined forces with NASCAR-series championship team Roush Fenway Racing to sponsor Trevor Bayne in two NASCAR Nationwide Series races in 2013. Bayne will race the WFG and Transamerica sponsored No. 6 Ford Mustang in the Sam’s Town 300 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 9 and in the Great Clips 200 at the Phoenix International Raceway on Nov. 9.

After races at a superspeedway in Daytona and a flat track in Phoenix, the Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series head to Sin City this weekend to take on the 1.5 mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the first intermediate track both series will visit this year.

Johanna Long and the ML Motorsports team will head back west to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for this Saturday’s Sam’s Town 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race. Fans can watch and listen live on ESPN2, MRN and Siriusxm Radio at 1:30 pm PST/4:30 pm ET.

Kevin Swindell and the No. 98 Biagi-DenBeste Racing team will take to the track this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This will be the first race of the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series season for Swindell and the team.

Daryl Harr will return to race the No. 4 iWorld Chevy at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and looks to finish strong after disappointment in the desert. In running a limited schedule with JD Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Daryl looks to capitalize in Las Vegas to help build momentum for the No. 4 team.
