From Homestead to Las Vegas, a bevy of NASCAR awards have been given out in the past two months. And this past weekend, a few more accolades were distributed to a number of industry personnel who are integral to every NASCAR race weekend.

The 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series can be best summed up with one word. Transition. Familiar faces in new places seems to be the theme this year for NASCAR's number two series. Heading into to this season we know with all certainty we will have a new NNS champion as 2-time champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is heading to the Sprint Cup Series to drive Roush Fenway Racing's iconic No.17 vacated by Matt Kenseth when he left for Joe Gibbs Racing.

As NASCAR prepares to return to Dover International Speedway for the May 31-June 2 and Sept. 27-29, 2013 race weekends, the track has announced that NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying will return to its Friday afternoon time. For the past few years, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series has qualified on Saturday afternoon, just prior to the day’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race.

Fans can expect more entertainment than ever before at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2013 with an unprecedented lineup of events to enjoy with family and friends. The legendary complex, which also encompasses zMAX Dragway and The Dirt Track at Charlotte, has a jam-packed schedule filled with NASCAR, NHRA and World of Outlaws national events, gigantic car shows, concerts, a 5K charity run, miles of Christmas lights and more.

The saying “what off-season” continues to be used in NASCAR because there really is no break in the NASCAR world. Moves are constantly being made in preparation for the season to come. Over the past few months, the Nationwide Series has been full of changes involving who will be competing for the championship in 2013. It was announced today that Harry Scott Jr., longtime minority owner of Turner Motorsports, will expand his involvement with the team, partnering with Steve Turner as co-owner of the newly rebranded Turner Scott Motorsports.

Turner Motorsports (TMS) today announced that NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion, James Buescher will return to the seat of the No.31 Chevrolet Silverado competing in a full 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) schedule . Much like the 2012 season, Buescher will also continue to hone his skills running select NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) events in 2013.

Turner Motorsports announced today that their successful two-year-long primary marketing partnership with Great Clips, Inc. will not continue into the 2013 NASCAR season.
