Camry driver Joey Logano drove his Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 GameStop Toyota Camry to victory lane in Friday evening's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Joey Logano won the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway for his eighth win of the season and the 1 7th NNS victory of his career. Logano led a race-high 62 laps of 200 en route to his first NNS victory at the mile-and-a-half Charlotte oval.

NASCAR Nationwide points leader Elliott Sadler will start from the pole position for tonight’s Dollar General 300 after turning a lap around the 1.5-mile superspeedway in 29.310 seconds (184.237 mph).

NASCAR Nationwide Series Car to Honor General Sadler with Special Colors – Tonight’s running of the Dollar General 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race will feature a very special paint scheme honoring Speedway Children’s Charities national executive director, retired U.S. Air Force Major General Tom Sadler. The car honoring Gen. Sadler is the No. 08 Ford of Kyle Fowler.

The University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) will be the title sponsor Kentucky Speedway’s UNOH 225 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event though 2015 under the terms of an extended corporate partnership.

With 20 NASCAR wins in the record books Charlotte Motor Speedway has always been a favorite of the Roush Fenway teams. In the past 25 years RFR teams have accumulated eight Cup and 12 Nationwide Series wins, while leading over 5,000 laps. This weekend RFR hopes to add to those totals.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., driver of the No. 6 Cargill Beef Ford Mustang , comes into this weekend nine points behind Elliott Sadler for first-place in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Stenhouse participated in a press conference at Charlotte Motor Speedway to talk about the championship race and his hopes for making it two straight.

Ryan Blaney will return to Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS). He will be making his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) CMS debut in the No. 36 SealWrap Chevrolet. This weekend’s start will mark the rookie’s 10th start in the series.
