Michael Annett started the OneMain Financial 200 at Dover International Speedway from the 12th position. Running lap times comparable to the leader from the drop of the green flag Annett moved into the 11th spot at Lap 33.

Mike Wallace and the unsponsored No. 01 Chevrolet team went to Dover International Speedway in search of concrete results. What they got, instead, was a fast-paced race on the one-mile, concrete oval track that prevented them from gaining positions during the event where only three caution flags slowed the action.

While some still debate it, anyone involved with NASCAR knows not only is it a sport, but one that involves a unique mixture of physicality, good mechanics and a great deal of mental focus, as well as confidence.

Cruise control is not an approved piece of equipment in NASCAR. (Speedometers aren’t either, for that matter.) But if it were, Joey Logano simply could have set his to “fast” at Dover International Speedway on Saturday, speedometer not necessary.

RICKY STENHOUSE JR. – No. 6 Cargill Ford Mustang – “Our Ranchers Reserve Mustang was not as good as we thought it was gonna be for sure. We did all we could to finish ninth. That was a tough race and a tough race track when it gets rubbered in, and we just didn’t have any grip. We struggled a lot, so we’ll have to look at it. This was something a little different that we ran here that we haven’t in the past, but, all in all, we finished top 10. It’s not what we want because we always come to win, but I’ve got to thank Cargill Beef, Ranchers Reserve, Safeway, NOS, Nationwide Insurance. It’s a finish. We’ll go on to Charlotte.”

With his trademark smile in place, Joey Logano said he was “pumped up, upbeat and ready to go”, not only for the weekend racing at Dover, but for the next step in his career and life as well.

With his fifth consecutive top-10 finish under his belt as of Kentucky Speedway last weekend, Michael Annett has been very pleased with the consistency of his No. 43 Pilot Flying J Ford Mustang in the Nationwide Series.

NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) driver Matt Carter won’t be in a car this weekend at Dover (Del.) International Speedway. Instead, the Denver, North Carolina native will head to the Lone Star state as a guest of the Lone Survivor Foundation (LSF) for their third annual gala.
