The Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma is airing its first public service announcement to raise awareness about the No. 1 killer of children in America - serious injury. The PSA will run on select cable channels in Charter Communications' service areas throughout the U.S. July 23-August 19.

Despite a strong track record, Roush Fenway Racing has never won a NASCAR race at the famed 2.5 -mile quad oval of Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With the onset of the inaugural Nationwide Series event at the Brickyard, the team will have a pair of chances there this weekend, 2011 Nationwide Series Champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr., getting the first crack at the feat on Saturday.

Fastenal returns to the Nationwide Series and will serve as the primary sponsor for the reigning 2011 NASCAR Nationwide champion, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and his No. 6 team during the U.S Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway on August 4. The No. 6 Fastenal Ford will resemble the No. 99 Fastenal Ford driven by Roush Fenway Racing teammate Carl Edwards in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series.

Chevrolet will have a new entry in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2013: Camaro, the top- selling sports car in America, will make its series debut next February at Daytona International Speedway.

Ryan Blaney will join the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) in the series debut at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This weekend’s start will mark the rookie’s fourth start in the series. Blaney looks to gain experience at the 2.5-mile track in the No. 36 SealWrap Chevrolet for Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR).

NASCAR announced yesterday, July 24, penalties for the No. 09 RAB Racing with Brack Maggard team which competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Chicagoland Speedway on July 22. The penalties are a result of rule infraction found in post-race inspection.
