The Atlanta Motor Speedway ticket office will extend its hours, including opening on weekends, beginning on July 28 in advance of the track’s three nights of NASCAR racing during Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31-Sept. 2.

Turner Motorsports announced today that Nelson Piquet Jr. will return to the cockpit of the No. 30 Turner Motorsports Chevrolet Impala at the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) event at Bristol Motor Speedway. This will be Piquet Jr.'s second NNS start of 2012, and the fourth of his career.

Super Weekend 2012 seemed like the perfect idea. We would see Nationwide cars accompany the Sprint Cup cars at Indianapolis along with the Rolex Sports car Series in the same weekend.
