NASCAR O'Reilly Series

Michael Annett, driver of the No. 43 Pilot/Flying J Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, currently sits seventh in the point standings going into tomorrow night’s race. He visited the Daytona International Speedway infield media center Thursday before practice to talk about his season to date and hopes for the rest of the season.

Bobby Santos will get behind the wheel of the No. 36 Chevrolet for Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) in this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race (NNS). Santos will make his second Daytona International Speedway (DIS) start in the Subway Jalapeno 250 powered by Coca-Cola.

“The night race at Daytona in July is always exciting, but it’s even more exciting this weekend because we are celebrating ‘The Kings’ 75th Birthday. Richard is such a legend and icon in our sport. I really want to bring home a great finish for him this weekend. We’ve got momentum going into Friday night’s race after our fourth-place run in Kentucky last weekend."

DODGE QUOTES: “We need a little bit of luck at Daytona and Talladega towards the end of the race and hopefully we’ll have a little bit of that on Friday night. I love going to those restrictor plate tracks. It’s about momentum."

The NASCAR Nationwide Series will hit the high banks of the Daytona International Speedway this Friday night for the running of the Subway Jalapeno 250. There is a lot on the line from this race.

John Wes Townley will pilot RAB Racing with Brack Maggard Chassis No. 38 in Friday's Subway Jalapeño 250 at Daytona International Speedway. This chassis last saw action at Talladega Superspeedway, when Kenny Wallace piloted this Toyota Camry to a ninth-place finish.
