Michael Annett started the 200-lap NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Texas Motor Speedway from the 18th position. Annett finished the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 as follows:

On April 11th, NASCAR announced the 25 nominees for the 2013 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class. The 25 nominees will be broken down to five via the NASCAR Hall of Fame Voting Panel and they will become the fourth group to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Elliott Sadler, the NNS point leader, says it’s great see a wide open field and that NNS drivers have worked hard to better understand their cars. Sadler has won twice thus far, at Phoenix and Bristol.

Ryan Truex will make his debut for RAB Racing with Brack Maggard this weekend, driving the No. 09 Grime Boss Toyota Camry in Friday night's O'Reilly Auto Parts 300. It will also mark the 20-year-old driver's first start at the 1.5 mile Texas Motor Speedway.
