Talladega Superspeedway is excited to announce that General Tire, which for over 100 years has offered a complete quality line of ultra-high performance, passenger, light truck, off-road and commercial tires, has extended its entitlement sponsorship of the General Tire 200 ARCA Racing Series event (April 26) as part of a multi-year partnership.

Rossi, a five-time race winner in the IndyCar Series, will share the No. 7 Acura ARX-05 Daytona Prototype International (Dpi) with fulltime Acura Team Penske drivers Helio Castroneves and Ricky Taylor.

Adam Lemke has been named as a driver for JR Motorsports’ championship-winning Late Model program for 2019. The 16-year-old native of Hollister, Calif. will take the seat of the team’s second Chevrolet for the season and will compete alongside 2017 CARS Late Model Stock Car Series champion Josh Berry.

GMS Racing officials announced today that the Statesville, N.C., based organization would expand competition into the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and West, as well as in the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Series in 2019. Sam Mayer, a Franklin, Wis., native will drive the No. 21 entry for the team in both series. Mayer is also scheduled to participate in four NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series events beginning in August at Bristol Motor Speedway.
