NASCAR and ARCA announced today a new championship format for 2020 that will see the continuation of three historic regional championship series and the coronation of a new fourth champion, all under the ARCA Menards Series banner.

After starting the ARCA Menards Series season with three runner-up finishes in his first four career starts, Gibbs (No. 18 Monster Energy/ORCA Coolers/Terrible Herbst/Advance Auto Parts Toyota) broke through and earned his first career series win at WWT Raceway outside of St. Louis. Gibbs then scored his second win in the previous series race at Salem Speedway.

The ARCA Menards Series doesn't race in Wheeling, West Virginia, hometown of Travis Braden (No. 27 MatrixCare/Consonus Health Care/Liberty Village Ford), but it does have a race in suburban Indianapolis, not that far from the RFMS Racing shop.

This car was mean-looking and low slung. The roofline didn’t rise any higher than a Lamborghini. The tires were huge; the widest I’d seen since the last time I was in a sprint car.

There’s a new engine on the Ford Performance block and Tony Stewart is making the most of it.

Team owner Roger Penske knows the value of individuals who execute as a team for the good of the organization, and he experienced it again September 22 in the NTT IndyCar Series season finale September 22 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California.

Not too far off from Josef Newgarden were championship hopefuls, Scott Dixon and Simon Pagenaud. Pagenaud came into the final race of the season, third in the standings just 42 points back looking for the second championship of his career.

Hoping to do the same thing his dad in 1998 and 1999, rookie sensation Colton Herta dominated to win the final race of the IndyCar season at Laguna Seca. Herta earned his second win of the season and is coming off a contract signing for next season with Andretti Harding Steinbrenner Autosport.

Team Penske and Hitachi Group announced today that they will continue their winning partnership for the 2020 IndyCar Series season. Building on a relationship that first began in 2012, Hitachi and Team Penske have agreed to an extension that ensures the global technology, electronics and automotive company will remain a key collaborator with the team.

Round 11 of the 2019 Trans Am presented by Pirelli Championship TA2 Class at Virginia International Raceway produced a tremendous spectacle for the fans and a welcome return to form for New Hampshire based Tom Sheehan and Damon Racing as he guided the No. 97 LTK Insulation Technologies Ford Mustang to a highly credible P8 at the checkered flag.
