Dover International Speedway is gearing up for the biggest year in its history as the Monster Mile celebrates its 50th anniversary season and hosts its 100th Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race.

In 2019, year five of its award-winning Throwback Weekend, Darlington Raceway will celebrate the 1990-1994 era of the sport for its 2019 campaign. The 2019 event will also mark the 70th running of the Bojangles’ Southern 500.

Daytona International Speedway (DIS) announced today a multi-year partnership with Extreme Energy Solutions that will make the green-tech company’s leading technology and consumer brands the official all-purpose cleaner-degreaser and the official vehicle/engine emission reducing technology of both the “World Center of Racing” and the DAYTONA 500.

Two-time DAYTONA 500 champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. will serve as the Honorary Pace Truck Driver for the 61st annual running of “The Great American Race” on Feb. 17 at Daytona International Speedway. Earnhardt will drive a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, marking the first time a truck has paced the DAYTONA 500 field.
