Kennesaw, Georgia-based Ultimate Tailgating will sponsor the February 23 Ultimate Tailgating 200 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Denny Hamlin, now a two-time DAYTONA 500 champion after winning Sunday’s 61st running of “The Great American Race,” was honored on Monday morning during the annual Champion’s Breakfast in Daytona International Speedway’s Bill France Room.

After yesterday’s DAYTONA 500, the NASCAR season is now in full swing – and there are officially 69 days until the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt will become the first NFL player to give the command to start engines at the DAYTONA 500 when he serves as Grand Marshal for the 61st running of “The Great American Race” on Sunday at Daytona International Speedway (TV – FOX, FOX Deportes; Radio – MRN, Sirius XM).

In advance of the 61st running of the DAYTONA 500, which will take place on Sunday, February 17, NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace spent Friday in Miami learning about South Florida’s African-American history. Wallace’s visit began at the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater where he met with Executive Director Timothy Barber, who led Wallace on a tour of historic Overtown.
