The coach of the team known for its “Keep Pounding” motto will make 40 drivers’ hearts pound on Sunday, when Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 Grand Marshal and Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera gives the command to start engines for the first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race on the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL™.

Two of the nation’s foremost advocates of the fight against cancer will serve as dignitaries for the inaugural Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 race weekend Sept. 28-30 on the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL™.

The drama of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs is building to a crescendo with the Sept. 30 Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 on the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL™. With slightly more than a week until the cutoff race for the first round of the playoffs – contested on Charlotte’s innovative, 17-turn, 2.28-mile ROVAL™ – drivers are preparing for a challenge like no other on the NASCAR schedule.

Tom Payne, who can currently be seen as Jesus Monroe in AMC’s record-breaking hit series, The Walking Dead, has been named as the honorary starter for the Oct. 21 Hollywood Casino 400, the elimination race for the second round of the Monster Energy NASCAR playoffs.

An unprecedented array of entertainment awaits race fans from all 50 states and 12 foreign countries as they descend on Charlotte Motor Speedway for the inaugural Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 from Sept. 28-30.

Fans’ accessibility for Talladega Superspeedway’s NASCAR Playoff weekend just got even better with the introduction of the new Saturday Pre-Race Pass, which will allow them to witness the action and a host of morning activities from “pit alley,” a designated fenced area behind pit road, for both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) on Saturday, Oct. 13.

It seems only fitting that the driver of the #2 car in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series visit the home of another #2 - the B-2 Spirit. Before heading to Las Vegas for the start of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, Brad Keselowski, who has won the past two Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races, stopped in at Whiteman Air Force Base to visit with airmen and get a tour of the B-2 Spirit.

In Monday’s regular-season finale for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS), Brad Keselowski captured his second straight MENCS triumph after winning the Brickyard 400. The 16-driver field is now set for the MENCS Playoffs, which will include a visit to Talladega Superspeedway for the second race (of three) in the Round of 12 on Oct. 14 for the 1000Bulbs.com 500.
