Organizers today announced that super duo Sugarland has been added to the third edition of Country 500 – The Great American Music Fest at Daytona — set for May 25, 26, & 27, 2018 at Daytona International Speedway. Sugarland has sold nearly 10 million albums domestically and has seven #1 singles to their credit and is reuniting after a seven-year hiatus. Sugarland joins previously announced artists Toby Keith, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, Billy Currington, Tyler Farr, Randy Houser and many more at the upcoming Country 500 Music Festival. Other artists added to the Country 500 lineup include Brandy Clark and Clare Bowen.

Singer/songwriter Tarra Layne will perform the iconic song “Georgia on my Mind” prior to the 2018 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway Feb. 25, a tradition begun by the race track at its annual NASCAR Weekend in 2016.

NASCAR fans get a double-dose of racing action to open the 2018 season on Sunday, February 11, with The Advance Auto Parts Clash at Daytona International Speedway capping a day that starts with Coors Light Pole Award qualifying for the 60th Annual Daytona 500.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is indeed returning to the DAYTONA 500, although in a different role than the previous 20 Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway. Earnhardt, who has retired from Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series competition, will serve as the Grand Marshal for the 60th running of “The Great American Race” on Feb. 18, 2018.

This weekend, champions in each of NASCAR’s three national series – Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series – will be crowned during Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, November 17-19. Following the penultimate races of the NASCAR playoffs at Phoenix Raceway, the Championship 4 field in each of those national series has now been determined, and discussions about who will take home the coveted trophies can now begin in earnes

To celebrate Veterans Day during the Can-Am 500 race weekend, Phoenix Raceway will honor veterans and recognize the military leading up to and during the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race.
