Richmond International Raceway’s (RIR) charitable arm RIR Cares presents its annual Day of Giving today. Eight grants totaling $35,000 will be awarded to deserving organizations in the Richmond community. This year’s eight grants are the most awarded in the track’s history. RIR Cares is a donor advised fund of The NASCAR Foundation.

The NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash4Cash format will return to the ToyotaCare 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) this season. The ToyotaCare 250 is one of only four Dash4Cash races for the 2017 season.

Kentucky Speedway, Alsco Linen and Uniform Rental Services, and Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) have collaborated on a multi-layer celebration to begin at approximately 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 8.

Talladega Superspeedway is excited to announce that legendary Southern rocker – Charlie Daniels – and The Charlie Daniels Band will perform as the headliner for the traditional Saturday Night Infield Concert, May 6, as part of the much-anticipated motorsports triple-header weekend (May 5-7), featuring the GEICO 500.

Dover International Speedway is once again hosting a special event for families of children on the autism spectrum. On Sunday, June 4, during the “AAA 400 Drive for Autism” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race, Autism Awareness Day at the Races will provide families with a sensory-friendly environment to enjoy 400 laps of North America’s top motorsports series.

While Punxsutawney Phil is deciding whether there is another six weeks of winter, Richmond International Raceway (RIR) will host an open house for fans to select and purchase their seats for the 2017 NASCAR season. Tickets for both the April and September NASCAR weekends go on sale to the public at RIR and RIR.com on Thursday, February 2.

Virginia roots run deep in NASCAR, and Gray Gaulding and BK Racing continue that tradition. At a press conference today at Richmond International Raceway (RIR), BK Racing announced Colonial Heights, V.A., native Gaulding as the driver of the No. 23 Toyota Camry in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series for the 2017 season. The announcement was made at Gaulding and BK Racing’s home track in Richmond.

Richmond International Raceway’s (RIR) inaugural Fan Appreciation Weekend was honored by NASCAR as the Most Innovative Fan Integration Program of the Year. The award was presented at the recent 2017 NASCAR Marketing & Communications Summit in Charlotte, N.C.
