Atlanta Motor Speedway will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1992 Hooters 500 Cup Series race, known as one of the greatest NASCAR races of all time, in which racing legend and NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Petty made his final career start, with a special ticket offer and exclusive race-day experience for the first 500 fans who take advantage.

“I am honored and very excited to drive the pace car for Federated Auto Parts 400 race. I’m a huge race fan and being on the track and leading these drivers to the green flag for the start is an awesome opportunity!” said Stapleton.

Highlighting the ceremonies will be the United States Marine Band. Established by an Act of Congress in 1798, “The President’s Own” is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization, and will be performing the National Anthem on Saturday night.

Starting in 2016, the same thrill and excitement of the Chase will be implemented in the XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series, marking the first time in NASCAR history that the Championship 4 from each division will compete for their respective crown during Ford Championship Weekend.
