What’s better than a single scoop? A double dip! That’s what race fans in Richmond will get in 2015, as NASCAR returns to Richmond International Raceway twice next season, and it will be on our traditional dates. Fans will rise to their feet for NASCAR excitement April 24 & 25 and September 11 & 12.

Kansas Speedway will once again host a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series night race on May 9, 2015, and a race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on Oct. 18, 2015 for the Hollywood Casino 400.

Some of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s biggest wins have come on NASCAR’s largest tracks. But it is the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ shortest track … Martinsville Speedway … that is a sentimental favorite for Earnhardt.

The green flag may wave at 7:30 pm on Friday, September 5, but the action at Richmond International Raceway starts well before that. Join us on Pit Road from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm for a pre-race experience like no other! You’ll take in the sights and sounds of race prep – including Knockout Pole Qualifying and practice – from the perspective of a NASCAR crew member.

The Atlanta Motor Speedway will welcome Nickelodeon’s iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) for its NASCAR Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29-31, 2014. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo will bring their fast-action, high-adventure style of fun to the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series for a weekend of family entertainment, including two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed cars, which will be driven by Nationwide Series driver Chris Buescher and Sprint Series driver Michael McDowell.

No, the state fair isn’t coming back to the Richmond Raceway Complex. But, fans coming out to America’s Premier Short Track this September 5 & 6 will get a taste of some carnival fun at the Gwaltney Turn 3 Fun Zone.

On Thursday, September 11, Michigan Blood and Michigan International Speedway (MIS) renew their partnership at the Spirit of America Blood Drive. This one of a kind event pays tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11, while bringing in hundreds of lifesaving blood donations.

While the races at NASCAR’s most competitive venue – Talladega Superspeedway – are anticipated by fans across the globe, so, too, is the track’s infamous Saturday Night Infield Concert. Two months out of a Talladega weekend, eager enthusiasts are already asking, “Who will be performing the Saturday Night Concert?”
