GMS Racing’s No. 24 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver, Justin Haley will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) debut in the No. 23 entry at Iowa Speedway. The Indiana-native will run at Daytona International Speedway (July 6) in a second GMS Racing entry and will additionally run at Watkins Glen International (August 4).

Although he didn't lead until Lap 117, Johnny Sauter still managed to gain his fourth victory of 2018, taking the win over polesitter Stewart Friesen by 0.092 seconds in the PPG 400. The margin of victory was the closest in Truck Series history at Texas Motor Speedway, besting the June 2006 event which had a margin of victory of 0.116 seconds.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series head to Michigan International Speedway this weekend, while the Camping World Truck Series is at Texas Motor Speedway. Check out the full schedule below, subject to change.

Self on Racing at Texas: “I always enjoy coming back to Texas,” said Self. “It’s my hometown track, so there’s always pressure to perform. It’s pressure that I don’t mind though. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to the mid-west this week at Texas Motor Speedway after having two and a half weeks off.

The No. 2 Chevy Silverado will have a slightly different look this weekend as Flying Eyes®, sunglasses designed for pilots and motorsports enthusiasts, will be on Coughlin’s hood for the Rattlesnake 400.

In this weeks feature story, we catch up with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Ben Rhodes. Rhodes, a Louisville, Kentucky native, drives the No. 41 ThorSport Racing Ford and has been competing in the Truck Series full time since 2016 with one part-time season in 2014, competing in only four races that year.
