Alex Tagliani won the Keystone Light Pole Award and set a new track qualifying record at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with a lap of 80.558 seconds at 109.889 mph. As he leads the field to green in Sunday’s Chevrolet Silverado 250 race, he will also be making his debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

When NASCAR announced that the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was coming to Canada, I couldn't contain myself as a Canadian fan. I knew right from the announcement that it'd be great to be able to see the trucks in my own backyard (only two hours from my hometown) and get the experience up close to them that so many fans down south know too well.

On Thursday afternoon at the CHILL Ice House in Toronto, Alex Tagliani unveiled his new livery for this weekend's Pinty's Presents the Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. The new design comes as a result of the second annual Summer of Tag contest, in which allowed Canadian students to design what they feel Tagliani's car and helmet should look like to raise awareness for food allergies and Anaphylaxis Canada.

This weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, there are going to be four Canadians in the Camping World Truck Series field - with each of them making their series debut. One of the drivers that highlights the list is Cameron Hayley, who will be driving the No. 32 Cabinets by Haley Chevrolet Silverado for Turner-Scott Motorsports.

"Turner Scott Motorsports remains in operation and will compete in this weekend's NASCAR events. TSM's NASCAR Nationwide Series race teams represented by the No. 42 driven by Kyle Larson and the No. 31 driven by Dylan Kwasniewski will complete this weekend as scheduled at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

On Tuesday afternoon, NASCAR unveiled the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule. The highlight of the schedule is the return of Atlanta Motor Speedway in the spring, breaking up a long off-period that the trucks normally faced between Daytona and Martinsville. The idea is to keep the racing in the forefront of the fans, while still offering that slow start to the season for teams who may be a little behind.

NASCAR announced today its national series schedules for the 2015 season, featuring date enhancements to races at some of its most storied tracks along with a pair of long-term broadcast partners that will provide the exciting action to the sport’s fans.

Dover International Speedway officials have announced the track’s 2015 race dates, as two tripleheader NASCAR weekends will return to the track on May 29-31 and Oct. 2-4, 2015.

In 2015, the dates for Talladega Superspeedway’s two race weekends will have a sense of familiarity with race fans – one in the spring to kick off the month of May and the other in late October to again feature the all-important sixth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

NASCAR released the 2015 Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) schedule today, and Phoenix International Raceway will once again host two NSCS race weekends next season.
