NASCAR Truck Series

After a solid fifth-place run at Kentucky Speedway, Timothy Peters regained the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points lead for the second time this season. The No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra team races into Iowa Speedway for the American Ethanol 200, full of momentum.

The mutual decision by both parties will end the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) association between the Griffin, GA driver and Kernersville, NC based team after just eight races this season.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished third (Ty Dillon), seventh (Joey Coulter) and 24th (Tim George Jr.).

James Buescher brought the heat on a steamy Kentucky Speedway night and scored his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) victory at the facility by leading 119 of 150 laps while guiding his No. 31 Turner Motorsports machine.
