NASCAR heads to Texas Motor Speedway for a full weekend of racing culminating with the Cup Series All-Star Race Sunday evening.

The reigning Camping World Truck series champion from Louisville, Kentucky, is set to achieve a milesonte start in his seventh full-time season in the series.

The 22-year-old Smith from Huntington Beach, California, led a race-high 108 of 147 laps and executed an eight-lap dash to the finish for his third Truck victory of 2022.

The NASCAR Cup Series and the Camping World Truck Series head to Kansas Speedway this weekend while the Xfinity Series enjoys a week off from competition.

John Hunter Nemechek was fastest in practice, won the pole and led a race-high 69 laps en route to his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win of the season Friday night at Darlington Raceway.

“Just being able to see the fans enjoying themselves whether it be in the campgrounds or the stands, we missed that for about 2 1/2 years with the pandemic,” he said. “I’m looking forward with a lot of anticipation to seeing that again.”

This week NASCAR travels to Darlington Raceway for the fan-favorite Throwback Weekend featuring special paint schemes and activities that pay tribute to NASCAR tradition.

The reigning NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion persevered on a five-lap dash to the finish to cap off a dominant run with his first victory of the season and on Bristol's dirt course.

The NASCAR Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series travel to Bristol Motor Speedway this week for some dirt track racing under the lights while the Xfinity Series is off.

The 24-year-old Byron from Charlotte, North Carolina, led 94 of 200 laps en route to his Truck Series victory in six years at the Paper Clip short track.
