  • Mayer will be making only his second start at the 1.5-mile track after finishing fifth in this race last season.
  • The Franklin, Wis. native is currently sixth in the NXS Playoff standings, 16 markers under the playoff cutline after a strong fifth-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last weekend.

Josh Berry
No. 8 Tire Pros Chevrolet

  • Josh Berry enters this weekend at Homestead seeking victory in just his fourth start on the 1.5-mile South Florida oval.
  • In three previous starts there, Berry’s best finish is 10th, earned in the spring of 2021. In this race last season, the Tennessee native finished 11th.
  • Berry is also seeking his fourth win on a 1.5-mile track. His three previous wins on such circuits came at Las Vegas (2021, 2022) and at Charlotte (2022).

Brandon Jones
No. 9 Menards/Pelonis Chevrolet

  • Brandon Jones has made eight starts in South Beach in the NXS and has recorded two top fives and five top 10s. In his last six starts at Homestead, Jones has only one finish outside of the top 10 and holds an impressive average finish of 7.1 in that same span.
  • Jones’ average finish of 9.0 in eight starts at Homestead ranks as the third-best for the 26-year-old at active tracks in the NXS.
  • The Atlanta, Ga. native has finished in the top 10 in three of the last five events dating back to Kansas Speedway in September where he finished in the second position.

Justin Allgaier
No. 7 hellowater Chevrolet

  • Justin Allgaier enters the second race in the Round of 8 in the NXS Playoffs as the second seed, 21 points above the playoff cutline with two races remaining in the round.
  • Allgaier has scored a best finish of sixth at the Miami oval, coming in this event in 2016.
  • The Illinois native has been strong on mile-and-a-half tracks in 2023, going to Victory Lane at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May and winning the pole in two of the last three 1.5-mile events.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.
No. 88 Bass Pro Shops Club Card Chevrolet

  • Dale Earnhardt Jr. makes his return to Homestead for the first time since 2020 in NXS competition behind the wheel of the No. 88 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet.
  • The two-time NXS Champion came home with a fifth-place finish in that event in 2020.
  • In six career NXS starts at Homestead, Earnhardt Jr. has scored two top fives and four top 10s. His best finish of second came in the 1999 season finale en route to his most recent NXS championship.
  • In his first NXS start this season at Bristol, Earnhardt Jr. ran up front for much of the night, leading 47 of 300 laps.

“I am super excited to get back to Homestead this week as we had a really good run there last season. We did not have the best points day in Vegas so I am really hopeful we can pull through and have a better day in Miami. This No. 1 JRM team has worked so hard all year long and I can’t thank them enough for helping get us this far in the playoffs.“ – Sam Mayer

“Heading into this second race in the Round of 8 we know what we need to do. If we can go out and execute like we have been all season long I see no reason why we won’t be in a strong position to make our way to Phoenix with this hellowater Chevrolet. We’re ready to go.” – Justin Allgaier

“Homestead is a track where you have to be good on the high groove, and we’ll give it our best shot on Saturday. We just need some consistency in these races, and we’re working hard to achieve that. I’ve had good cars there, but not the luck that you need to compete for the win. Looking forward to having Tire Pros back with us this week and getting them into Victory Lane.” – Josh Berry

“Homestead is a track that has been pretty good to me in the past and I am really looking forward to building on the momentum from last weekend in Vegas. This Menards/Pelonis team has given me really great cars the last few weeks and this weekend should be more of the same. Hopefully we can put it all together and get another solid finish this weekend.” – Brandon Jones

“It feels good to get back behind the wheel in the Xfinity Series with JR Motorsports again this weekend. We had a good run going at Bristol, and we’re heading to another track I’ve always loved racing at, Homestead. I’m excited to have my buddy Johnny (Morris) and Bass Pro Shops on the car.” – Dale Earnhardt Jr.

The Popularity of Online Games: Exploring the Reasons

Online games have taken the world by storm, captivating millions of players from various corners of the globe. The allure of online gaming is undeniable as it continues to thrive and evolve year after year. But what exactly are the reasons behind the widespread fascination with online games, and why have they become such a dominant force in the entertainment industry? Let’s delve into some of the key factors that contribute to the popularity of online gaming.

1. Accessibility and Convenience: One of the primary reasons for the immense popularity of online games is their accessibility and convenience. Unlike traditional video games, which often require dedicated gaming consoles or PCs, online games can be played on a wide range of devices, from smartphones and tablets to laptops and desktop computers. The ability to play anytime, anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection, is a game-changer.

2. Variety of Genres: Online games offer an incredible variety of genres to suit every taste. From action-packed first-person shooters to immersive role-playing games, and even casino games like House of Pokies, there’s something for everyone. The diversity in game genres ensures that players can always find something that piques their interest.

3. Social Interaction: Online games provide a platform for social interaction that transcends physical boundaries. Players can connect with friends, family, or even complete strangers from different parts of the world. This social aspect of gaming fosters friendships and community building, making it a popular pastime for those seeking social connections.

4. Competitive Spirit: The competitive nature of online games is a significant driving force behind their popularity. Players can test their skills and strategies against others in real-time, and the prospect of victory and recognition fuels their desire to keep playing and improving.

5. Continuous Updates and Improvements: Online game developers often release updates and expansions to keep the experience fresh and engaging. This constant evolution ensures that players always have something new to look forward to, preventing the games from becoming stale.

6. In-Game Rewards and Achievements: Many online games offer in-game rewards, achievements, and a progression system that motivates players to keep playing. These incentives provide a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, making players want to reach the next level or achieve the next milestone.

7. Escapism and Entertainment: Online games offer a form of escapism and entertainment that allows players to temporarily escape from the stresses of everyday life. They provide an immersive experience that can be a welcome distraction from the challenges and worries of the real world. For example, role-playing games like Final Fantasy XIV offer players a rich, immersive world to explore, filled with epic quests and dynamic storylines. FFXIV Lodestone enhances this experience by providing detailed insights into in-game character profiles, progress tracking, and community updates, allowing players to stay connected and fully immersed in the game’s evolving world.

8. Streaming and eSports: The rise of streaming platforms like Twitch and the emergence of eSports have made online gaming a spectator sport. Many people enjoy watching skilled players compete or provide entertaining commentary on their favorite games, further fueling the gaming community’s growth.

9. Technological Advancements: Technological advancements have significantly improved the quality of online games. High-definition graphics, realistic physics, and immersive virtual reality experiences have made the gaming world more enticing and engaging.

In the midst of the myriad of online games, “House of Pokies” stands as a prime example of the appeal of online casino games. With its wide selection of slot machines and card games, it offers players the thrill of gambling from the comfort of their own homes. The convenience and excitement of playing popular casino games online have undoubtedly contributed to their widespread popularity.

In conclusion, the popularity of online games can be attributed to a combination of factors, including accessibility, variety, social interaction, competitiveness, regular updates, rewards, escapism, entertainment, streaming, and technological advancements. The gaming industry continues to evolve, and as long as developers keep innovating and providing captivating experiences, the allure of online games is likely to persist and grow. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a dedicated enthusiast, the world of online gaming has something for everyone, making it a global phenomenon that shows no signs of slowing down.

Location: Homestead-Miami Speedway (1.5-mile, oval)
Date/Broadcast: Oct. 21, 2023, at noon ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR 90

Get to Know Jack:

Jack Wood will make his 12th NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start of 2023 for Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) behind the wheel of the No. 51 High Fives Foundation Chevrolet in Saturday’s Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Wood has finished inside the top 10 in two of his 11 Truck Series starts this season, including a career-best ninth-place finish at Texas Motor Speedway in April. The California native has qualified inside the top 10 for seven of 11 Truck Series events this season, with a season-best qualifying effort of second coming at Texas. Across 46 career Truck Series starts, Wood has produced five laps led and three top-10 finishes. He has just one prior start at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The High Fives Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to be the leader of education and recovery of life-altering injuries in outdoor action sports, will serve as the primary sponsor on Wood’s No. 51 Silverado Saturday. As a non-profit organization, the High Fives Foundation has become the safety net of the outdoor community. Through grants that supply adaptive sports equipment, their rehab center, and a variety of programs, they help our athletes get back to physical activities. The bedtop of Wood’s Chevrolet Saturday will feature the names of over 700 of the High Five Foundation’s Adaptive Athletes.

Wood has two top-five and six top-10 finishes with an average result of 10.4 across eight ARCA Menards Series starts this season for Rev Racing. Across 17 career ARCA Menards Series starts he has recorded three top-five and 10 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 12.2.

The No. 51 team qualified for the owner’s playoffs after finishing seventh in the regular season owner point standings but did not make it out of the Round of 10. Across 21 starts in 2023, the team has recorded two wins, one pole, 170 laps led, seven top-five and 10 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 14.2. Owner-driver Kyle Busch recorded both of the 51 team’s victories winning the second race of the season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and most recently collecting his organization’s historic 100th win July 22 at Pocono Raceway.

Veteran crew chief Brian Pattie is calling the shots for the No. 51 team this year in his first season at KBM after spending the last 14 seasons atop the pit box in the NASCAR Cup Series. It took the veteran signal caller just two races to get his first win at KBM, winning with owner-driver Kyle Busch at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The duo won again in July at Pocono Raceway and collected KBM’s 100th career Truck Series victory. In the Cup Series, his drivers produced six wins, nine poles, 57 top-five and 131 top-10 finishes across 528 starts. The Florida native has also recorded 11 wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and now has three wins as a crew chief in the Truck Series. This will be Pattie’s first time atop the pit box for a race at Homestead-Miami in the Truck Series. Across 14 Cup Series starts, his best result was a runner-up finish with Clint Bowyer in 2012. In Xfinity Series action at the Florida track, he has two wins, both coming with Joe Nemechek behind the wheel (1999 and 2001).
Jack Wood, Driver Q&A:

Homestead is unique for a mile-and-a-half track. Talk about how you will prepare for this weekend?

“I feel like this is the track I struggled at the most last year. As far as my preparation, I have done film study, iRacing, and talked to as many people as I can — much like I’ve done for other races in the past. We’ve had multiple sim sessions for this race which is something that we normally don’t get. Hopefully, that means I have a better feel for what I need and I’m sure the truck will be fast. It will just be about getting me to where I need to be to execute the right way. It will be a lot of work going into it, but I think the uniqueness of this racetrack will make it fun. I always like a new challenge.”

High Fives Foundation is back on the truck this week. Does this partnership mean more after attending one of their events recently?

“It was cool to be able to go down to Waco, Texas to wake surf with them. We had them on our truck at Kansas and I got to meet Roy Tuscany (Founder & CEO, High Fives) but then to go meet a lot of the athletes firsthand just makes it more meaningful. I’m excited to have them back on the truck a second time this year, it’s going to mean a lot more to me now. Hopefully, we can go out there and get a good run for them.”

What does it mean to be carrying the athletes’ names on the bedtop of your truck this weekend?

“I think it’s cool. A lot of them got injured doing what I did growing up, ski racing. There’s a connection to what I used to do with what I do now. Just being around these people and their positivity. To be able to honor them and do something cool for them, even if it’s just seeing a text with a picture of their name on the back of the truck, is special. It means a lot more to me doing this a second time around, now that I’ve got to meet these athletes firsthand.”

Jack Wood Career Highlights:

  • Has produced three top-10 finishes across 46 career starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Posted a series-best ninth-place finish at Texas Motor Speedway in April.
  • Has compiled 14 laps led, three top-five and 10 top-10 finishes across 17 career ARCA Menards Series events.
  • Has totaled three top-five and eight top-10 finishes across 12 career starts in the ARCA Menards West Series.
  • Compiled one top-five and three top-10 finishes across 24 starts in the SRL Spears Southwest Tour from 2017 to 2021.
  • Jack Wood’s No. 51 High Fives Foundation Chevrolet Silverado RST:

KBM-74: The No. 51 High Fives team will unload KBM-74 for Saturday’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. KBM owner-driver Kyle Busch led a race-high 84 laps en route to victory with this Silverado earlier this year at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Most recently Wood was relegated to a 30th-place finish with this truck after getting caught up in an early accident at Nashville Superspeedway in June.

  • KBM holds the Craftsman Truck Series records for most career wins (100) and most wins in a single season (14 in 2014). Kyle Busch picked up his organization’s first-ever win at Nashville Superspeedway in April of 2010 and also picked up its 100th Truck Series victory at Pocono Raceway in July of 2023. In addition to collecting a series-record seven owner’s championships, the organization has produced two championship-winning drivers: Erik Jones (2015) and Christopher Bell (2017).

CHAMPIONS SET TO BE CROWNED AT HISTORIC 58TH ANNUAL IN-N-OUT BURGER NHRA FINALS IN POMONA

POMONA, Calif. (Oct. 17, 2023) – For the first time, In-N-Out Burger will be part of the final event of the NHRA Camping World Drag Series schedule, with the historic 58th annual In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals set to take place Nov. 9-12 at legendary In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.

With NHRA and In-N-Out Burger, the two Southern California staples will partner for the massive event on the hallowed grounds at the historic track in Pomona. Since 1984, the NHRA Finals has been where champions are crowned, and this year’s race will feature the likes of Leah Pruett and Matt Hagan of Tony Stewart Racing to defending world champs like Ron Capps and Erica Enders aiming for championship glory and legacy-defining moments at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.

The world will again be watching this year, as the famed facility plays host to intense championship battles, incredible action and unforgettable moments. The weekend includes two qualifying sessions on both Friday and Saturday leading into championship Sunday, plus a weekend-long celebration of veterans. Fans can get closer to the action with a Top Eliminator Club experience, offering the best seats in the house and a premium experience, as well as a members-only hospitality center, complimentary food and beverage, driver appearances, a premium view and more.

Austin Prock (Top Fuel), Cruz Pedregon (Funny Car), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) and Angie Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) won last year’s event, while Brittany Force (Top Fuel), Capps (Funny Car), Enders (Pro Stock) and Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) claimed world championships. The race will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 (FS1), including eliminations at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 12 as the season closes in style.

Southern California native Pruett jumped into the Top Fuel points lead and is looking to win her first world title. She leads by just four points over Doug Kalitta and is only 13 ahead of Steve Torrence. With Pruett and the veteran Kalitta both trying to win their first title, and Torrence after his fifth, this will come down to the wire and be the latest chapter in spectacular moments at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals.

Can Tony Stewart Racing make it a championship double-up in the nitro categories? Funny Car’s Matt Hagan hopes so. He’s won six times in 2023 and is back in the points lead, but Bob Tasca III, who is 36 points back, and Robert Hight, who trails Hagan by 69 points, both remain in championship contention, as does Capps, who is trying for a third consecutive title.

In Pro Stock, Enders is closing in on a sixth world title and her fourth in five years. She became the winningest female in motorsports in Dallas with her 47th win, opening up an 85-point lead against longtime rival Anderson. If it comes down to the two veterans, it will be another Pomona to remember. Anderson has been a Pomona legend over the years, winning an incredible 14 times at the track.

Pro Stock Motorcycle’s Gaige Herrera has enjoyed a historic season and currently enjoys a big points lead against the likes of Eddie Krawiec and defending world champ Smith. He also has a chance to set the all-time wins mark in a single season in the class. Herrera is currently at nine and wins at the last two events would get him there.

It all adds up to a historic weekend that no fan should miss. If that isn’t enough, champions will also be crowned in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, as well as action in the Jr. Dragster Shootout, the “Walking Tall” P.T. Cruiser Wheelstander driven by “NitroMike” and autograph sessions, including one with legend Don “The Snake” Prudhomme and Capps.

Race fans at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip can enjoy the special pre-race ceremonies that celebrate each of the drivers racing for the prestigious Wally on Sunday and includes the SealMaster Track Walk. The final can’t-miss experience of any NHRA event is the winner’s circle celebration on Sunday after racing concludes, where fans are invited to congratulate the event winners and 2023 world champs.

Fans are also invited to the Nitro Alley Stage all weekend, as the entertainment hub hosts Nitro School, meet and greets, influencer interviews and much more. As always, fans get a pit pass to the most powerful and sensory-filled motorsports attraction on the planet and can see their favorite teams in action and servicing their hot rods between rounds, get autographs from their favorite NHRA drivers, and more.

NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series qualifying will feature two rounds at 12 and 3 p.m. PT on Friday, Nov. 10, and the final two rounds of qualifying on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Final eliminations are scheduled for 11 a.m. PT on Sunday, Nov. 12. Television coverage includes qualifying action on FS1 at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, leading into eliminations at 4 p.m. ET.

To purchase tickets to the 58th annual In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals, fans can visit www.NHRA.com/tickets. All children 12 and under will be admitted free in the general admission area with a paid adult.

Chase Purdy: Driver, No. 4 Bama Buggies Chevrolet

 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Overview:

Location: Homestead-Miami Speedway (1.5-mile, oval)

‘Chase’n Wins:

Chase Purdy and the No. 4 team head to Homestead-Miami Superspeedway for Saturday’s Baptist Health 200. The team has shown increased speed down the stretch of the 2023 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule boasting an average starting position of 3.0 across the last four races. Purdy captured his first career pole at Kansas Speedway in September and a second one at the series’ last stop at Talladega Superspeedway. The Mississippi native led 11 laps at Talladega before getting caught up in a crash that relegated him to a 28th-place finish.

The 23-year-old driver has gained two positions in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series point standings since the start of the playoffs and now ranks 11th, which is the highest that a non-playoff driver can finish. Purdy entered the 2022 season having never earned a top-five result in Truck Series action but has produced two across 21 races in his first season at KBM. He has also produced a career-high nine top-10 finishes this season, after posting just two each in 2021 and 2022.

Purdy has just one career start at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He started 10th and finished 16th in last year’s race at the 1.5-mile oval. Across six starts on mile-and-a-half tracks this season the No. 4 team has produced an average starting position of 8.4 and an average finish of 13.2. They have finished inside the top 10 in half of those starts including Purdy’s career best runner-up finish at Texas in April.

The No. 4 team will be rolling out KBM-79, which is the same chassis that Purdy captured the pole with at Kansas Speedway last month.

Purdy is in his third full-time season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and first with KBM. He finished 16th in the Truck Series final standings in 2022 after competing in 22 of the 23 events. He posted two top-10 finishes and nine laps led.

Jimmy Villeneuve is atop the pit box for Purdy and the No. 4 Chevrolet team this season. Prior to being promoted to crew chief for the 2023 season, Villeneuve had served as a Truck Chief at KBM since the 2017 season and in that role was a part of 18 wins, a driver’s championship with Christopher Bell in 2017 and the 2019 owner’s championship with the No. 51 team. This will be Villeneuve’s second race calling the shots for a race at Homestead-Miami. He earned a 19th-place finish with Brady Boswell in the 2016 event after qualifying ninth.

Bama Buggies, your one-stop shop for all the biggest names in powersports and utility vehicles, will be the primary sponsor on Purdy’s No. 4 Chevrolet Saturday and for the majority of the events on the 2023 schedule. They are Central Alabama’s powersports experts, serving as an authorized dealer of Polaris, Slingshot, and Seadoo.

Nimnicht Chevrolet will serve as an associate sponsor adorning the tailgate of Purdy’s Silverado Saturday. A full-service dealership located in Jacksonville, Fla., Nimnicht has served Florida as a family-owned and operated Chevy dealership since 1941. Nimnicht specializes in all things Chevy, including Chevy auto sales, financing, parts, and service. Go to www.nimnichtchevy.com to view their inventory of new and certified pre-owned vehicles.
Chase Purdy, Driver Q&A:

Having limited experience at Homestead-Miami, how will you prepare for this race?

“I’ll approach this one just like any other weekend, watching film and going to the simulator. Being that it is a track that I don’t have as much experience at, I’m being diligent with watching film and constantly making notes for myself and talking to guys that are really good there. We’ve had fast trucks all season long and watching what KBM has been able to do there in years past, I think we should have another fast Bama Buggies Silverado. Just as long as I do my job and we all execute we’ll be fine.”

Do you feel like that speed that you showed at Kansas will translate over to this race at Homestead-Miami since it’s another multi-groove mile-and-a-half race track?

“Certainly — I don’t see why it shouldn’t. We’re bringing the same Bama Buggies Silverado we raced at Kansas, and we all saw how fast it was there. The only reason we didn’t get the result we deserved at Kansas was because of some mishaps that were out of our control. I’m looking forward to it, the ability to run multiple grooves makes it an exciting race. It will be fun for the drivers and for the fans.”

Chase Purdy Career Highlights:

  • Across 73 career Truck Series starts, has produced one pole, 21 laps led, two top-five and 14 top-10 finishes. Posted a career-best runner-up finish at Texas Motor Speedway in April of 2023. Earned first career pole in September of 2023 at Kansas Speedway.
  • Finished 16th in Truck Series championship standings in 2022.
  • Finished fourth in the 2018 ARCA Menard’s Series championship standings after recording 84 laps led, 10 top-five and 14 top-10 finishes.
  • Earned the 2017 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East rookie of the year honors and finished fourth in the championship standings after posting four poles, 200 laps led, five top-five and eight top-10 finishes across 14 starts.
  • Won the prestigious Snowflake 100 Pro Late Model race at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla., in Dec. of 2018.

Chase Purdy’s No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado RST:

KBM-79: The No. 4 Bama Buggies team will unload KBM-79 for Saturday’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This Silverado is the same truck that Purdy captured his first career pole with in September at Kansas Speedway. He was relegated to a 14th-place result at Kansas after having to hit pit road due to a loose wheel. This Chevy made its debut at Pocono Raceway, where Purdy qualified 10th and finished 18th.

KBM Notes of Interest:

  • KBM drivers have collected five wins, one pole, 416 laps led, 12 top-five and 18 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 10.6 across 32 starts at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Owner-driver Kyle Busch has three victories at Homestead-Miami, winning most recently in 2020 as well as in 2010 and 2013. Darrell Wallace Jr. (2014) and William Byron (2016) each have one victory at the Florida track.
  • KBM holds the Craftsman Truck Series records for most career wins (100) and most wins in a single season (14 in 2014). KBM owner-driver Kyle Busch picked up his organization’s first-ever win at Nashville Superspeedway in April of 2010 and also picked up its 100th Truck Series victory at Pocono Raceway in July of 2023. In addition to collecting a series-record seven owner’s championships, the organization has produced two championship-winning drivers: Erik Jones (2015) and Christopher Bell (2017).
  • The No. 4 has 18 career victories at KBM and was the number for both of the organization’s driver championships.

Bayne joins Rackley W.A.R. for Truck Series Playoff event at Homestead

Trevor Bayne will be making a one-race return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Rackley W.A.R. this upcoming weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The news comes as the 2011 Daytona 500 champion from Knoxville, Tennessee, is coming off three starts in this year’s Xfinity Series season with Joe Gibbs Racing, where he led a total of 26 laps and earned a season-best seventh-place result at Bristol Motor Speedway in September. The news also means that Bayne will become Rackley W.A.R.’s third different competitor of this year’s Truck season behind Matt DiBenedetto and Chandler Smith.

“I definitely didn’t see this coming two weeks ago,” Bayne said. “This deal came together rather quickly. [Owners] Willie Allen and Curtis Sutton have been working very hard over the past few years to improve their truck program. The results have shown all season with their consistent top-10 runs. I look forward to working together with crew chief Chad Kendrick and the Rackley W.A.R. team and produce a strong run this weekend. Homestead-Miami has always been good to me, including last season when we were on the pole and ran sixth in the Xfinity race. I’m thankful to the group for the opportunity to be back behind the wheel.”

Having made 164 career starts in the Xfinity Series and 187 in the NASCAR Cup Series, Bayne made his Truck Series debut at Darlington Raceway in 2020 with Niece Motorsports, where he finished 27th. He then competed in seven of the remaining eight Truck events on the schedule with Niece, where he earned a career-best runner-up result at Talladega Superspeedway in October. His latest start in the series was at Phoenix Raceway, where he finished 18th.

Bayne’s latest NASCAR national touring series victory to date occurred in the Xfinity Series at Iowa Speedway in 2013, which marked his second of two series wins while driving for Roush Fenway Racing. He also remains as the youngest-ever winner of the Daytona 500 at age 20 after notching his first Cup Series victory in his second series career start in the Great American Race in 2011 while driving for Wood Brothers Racing.

“The team is definitely looking forward to our partnership with Trevor for Homestead-Miami,” Willie Allen, president of Rackley W.A.R., added. “Trevor brings a lot of very good experience to the table, and he will be a good measuring stick to help evaluate some of the things we are working on moving forward.”

Rackley W.A.R., which is in its third season of NASCAR Truck Series competition, commenced this season with full-time competitor Matt DiBenedetto piloting the team’s No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado RST entry. He made the 2023 Truck Series Playoffs on the strength of nine top-10 results through 16 regular-season events, but did not transfer from the Round of 10 to 8 despite achieving a third-place result at Kansas Speedway in September. Following Bristol, the team released DiBenedetto with three races remaining on the schedule and competed in the previous Truck Series event at Talladega Superspeedway with Xfinity Series rookie contender Chandler Smith, who finished fourth.

Currently, Rackley W.A.R.’s No. 25 entry is ranked in ninth place in the Truck Series’ owner’s standings. Their lone victory to date occurred at Talladega in October 2022 with DiBenedetto, who also recorded the first NASCAR national touring series victory for himself.

The team’s driver plans for the season-finale event at Phoenix Raceway in November remains to be determined.

With his upcoming weekend plans set, Bayne’s first Truck Series start with Rackley W.A.R. is set to occur at Homestead-Miami Speedway this Saturday, October 21, with the event’s broadcast time to occur at noon ET on FS1.
