On Pocono Raceway: “It’s been a few years since I’ve raced at Pocono, but I’m definitely ready to be back. I have an ARCA pole at the track, as well as one Truck race and one Xfinity race, so I feel like it’s a track I know well. I’ve always liked the unique racetracks and Pocono certainly is.

“Not only is there no other track like it, but each corner is completely unique as well, so I feel like it’s a well-rounded test for the driver and team. We’ve been in road course + dirt mode for my past five Truck races, in fact, I’ve only competed in one asphalt oval race this year with the No. 02 team, so I’m eager to get on track and see what we’ve got for the competition this weekend!”

Kody King honoring Jeff Gordon with throwback to his first career Busch Series victory

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Clear Lake, Ia. (July 22, 2022) –Kody King will be honoring one of his heroes when the CARS Pro Late Model Tour heads to Hickory Motor Speedway on July 30 for the Throwback 276.

The scheme that will adorn King’s car is a tribute to four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon and the No. 1 Baby Ruth Ford that he drove to his first career victory in what was then the NASCAR Busch Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 1992.

King said the decision to utilize Gordon’s Baby Ruth scheme for his Lee Faulk Racing Pro Late Model was an easy one and is thrilled to pay tribute to a driver who continues to make a tremendous impact on stock car racing in the United States seven years after his retirement from full-time competition.

“I was looking for an iconic paint scheme for the No. 1,” King said. “I have been able to watch Jeff Gordon as a driver, broadcaster and now as a winning car owner. This scheme was from his first Busch Grand National win in 1992. To me, that’s iconic.”

Gordon tallied two more victories during that 1992 season in the Baby Ruth car, both at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The success from that year, combined with his reputation as one of the most promising auto racing prospects in the U.S. at the time, convinced Rick Hendrick to put him in the No. 24 Dupont Chevrolet for the 1992 Hooters 500.

What followed was one of the greatest careers in NASCAR history. Along with his four championships in 1995, 1997, 1998 and 2001, Gordon also tallied three victories in the Daytona 500 and 93 wins overall, placing him third on the all-time list behind Richard Petty and David Pearson.

Like King, Lee Faulk Racing director of operations Michael Faulk considers Gordon to be a major influence on both himself and the current generation of drivers. He hopes the throwback scheme provides some additional luck as they tackle Hickory’s abrasive surface.

“There’s no better way to honor Jeff Gordon’s career than with the scheme that started it all,” Faulk said. “NASCAR changed forever with drivers like Gordon, and you can see his impact today in drivers like Kody. It’s an honor to have such a memorable scheme on one of our cars and hopefully we can give it one more win at Hickory.”

Faulk believes that everything is starting to come together for King in his rookie season with the CARS PLM Tour. In four starts, King has recorded three Top 10 finishes, including a career best of sixth during the Keen Parts 100 at Tri-County Motor Speedway.

The most recent trip to Hickory for King saw him finish in seventh on the lead lap, which is why he and Faulk are both optimistic that they can claim their first Top 5 of the season and build on that momentum with seven races remaining on the schedule.

King will pilot Gordon’s famous Baby Ruth car for 100 laps around Hickory as the CARS Tour honors the history of stock car racing with the fifth running of the Throwback 276.

How to Get the Best Locksmith Service

Photo by Julian Hochgesang on Unsplash

Having a locksmith’s number on hand is always a good idea. If you ever find yourself locked out of your home or car, you’ll be glad you did. But how do you know which locksmith to call? Not all locksmiths are created equal! Now, let’s look at a few tips on how to find the best locksmith service possible, and know what to expect from a good locksmith and what to watch out for. So read on and learn everything you need to know about getting the best locksmith service!

What to look for:

Licensed:

First and foremost, you want to ensure that the locksmith you call is licensed and insured. This is important for a couple of reasons. First, it safeguards you in case something goes wrong. If the locksmith damages your property or injures you while working on your lock, you want to be sure they are insured. Second, it protects the locksmith. They could be held liable if something goes wrong if they are not licensed and insured. To find out whether a Locksmith Halle {Slotenmaker Halle} is licensed and insured, you can typically check their website or call them. They should be able to provide you with this information quickly enough. If they can’t or won’t provide it, that’s a red flag, and you should look elsewhere for your locksmith needs.

Bonded:

In addition to being licensed and insured, a good locksmith will also be bonded. This means they have been background-checked by the state where they operate. This is important because you want to ensure your locksmith is someone you can trust. You don’t want to let just anyone into your home or car, so it’s essential to choose a locksmith who has been adequately vetted.

Ask the rates:

When you call a locksmith, be sure to ask about their rates. A good locksmith will be upfront about pricing and won’t try to hide any fees. You should also ask about any other charges that may apply, such as a service call fee if they have to come to your location. Ensure you understand all charges before agreeing to use the locksmith’s services.

Make the calls:

Once you’ve found a few locksmiths that meet the above criteria, it’s time to start making some calls. This is where you can start to narrow down your choices. When you call each locksmith, be sure to ask about their experience and whether or not they have any specialties. You’ll also want to find out how long they’ve been in business and whether they’re members of any professional organizations. You should also ask them if they provide Emergency locksmith services. If they only operate during certain hours, they may not be of much use to you in an emergency. These are all excellent indicators of a quality locksmith.

Ask for recommendations:

Finally, don’t be afraid to ask family and friends for recommendations. If someone you know has had a good experience with a particular locksmith, they’ll be more than happy to share their information. This is one of the best ways to find a quality locksmith that you can trust.

More tips:

– Get an estimate before work begins. Explain in detail the problem and what you want done, and ask whether there are other options.
– Ask if they have a physical location where you can come in and talk to someone in person.
– If they do work onsite, ask if they guarantee their work.
– Ask about payment methods and find out if they offer discounts for cash payments.
– Find out if they have a cancellation policy if you need to reschedule.  You don’t want to be stuck with a bill if the locksmith can’t make it on time.
– Ask if they offer any other services you might need in the future, such as key duplication or safe installation. It’s always good to have a locksmith you can rely on for all your needs.
– Ask if the locksmith can provide ID. Some states require locksmiths to be licensed. If they can’t provide ID, they may not be legitimate.
– Be wary of any locksmith who quotes a price over the phone without seeing the situation first. This is a common scam where the locksmith will quote a low price to get your business, but then add additional fees once they arrive.
– Get everything in writing before work begins. This should include an estimate of the total cost and what type of work will be performed.
– Ask if the locksmith is bonded and insured. This protects you if something goes wrong and shows that the locksmith is reputable.
– Inquire about payment methods
– Find out if there are any discounts available
– Ask for references

Why should you go for the best one?

The best locksmiths will be experienced and have been doing this for many years. Locksmiths can provide many services, such as key duplication, safe installation, or even simple lock picking. However, not all locksmiths are created equal. It would help to consider a few things when choosing a locksmith to ensure you get the best possible service. Additionally, having access to a reliable professional who offers dependable emergency locksmith services ensures help is available whenever unexpected lock issues arise.

First, choose only an experienced, established Emergency locksmith. This will ensure they have the knowledge and expertise to handle any situation you may encounter. In addition, be sure to ask if the locksmith is bonded and insured. This protects you financially in case something goes wrong during their work. Finding a locksmith who is a member of a professional organization, such as the Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA), is also essential. This shows they are committed to their craft and up to date with the latest industry standards. Finally, be sure to ask for references from past customers. This is the best way to get an idea of what type of service you can expect from the locksmith. Your security is too important to leave in the hands of just anyone.

By following these tips, you should be able to find a quality locksmith you can trust. Don’t be afraid to ask around and get some recommendations. With a little research, you can be sure you’re getting the best possible service. And remember, if something does go wrong, make sure that you have their insurance information on hand! This way, you’ll be covered no matter what. Thanks for reading, and we hope this helps!

A Basic overview of Motor Trade Insurance

When a third party is harmed or suffers a loss due to an accident involving a company’s cars, motor trade insurance, also called road risk insurance, provides coverage. Individuals who own or operate a car dealership, a service station, or a garage are perfect customers for this type of insurance policy. Whatever the size of the business, whether it’s a part-time or full-time venture, it doesn’t matter. Everything from the worth of tools and machinery to the cost of a new automobile is covered by the Policy.

Types of motor vehicle insurance

Among the different types of motor vehicle insurance available, Private Car Insurance, Two-wheeler Insurance, and Commercial Vehicle Insurance are the most prominent ones.

Private Car Insurance

After finalizing your automobile booking, the car vendor would recommend you to purchase insurance coverage that would further act as protection for you and your vehicle. The motor trade insurance would protect you against any kind of unwanted damage, natural disasters like earthquakes and floods, damage or theft, an accident, and so on.

Private car owners can rest easy knowing that they are covered in the event of third-party property damage or bodily injury thanks to the government’s mandate that third-party liability is included in all policies. For further protection, automobile owners can choose to add on engine and gearbox protector and zero depreciation policies.

Two-wheeler Insurance

The Motor Vehicle Amendment Act of 2019 mandates two-wheeler insurance with personal accident and third-party coverage, just like it does for private cars. The insurance provides comprehensive protection for the owner against all kinds of losses and damages, both to his or her person and to his or her property. Insuring a two-wheeler does not cover things like normal wear and tear on the vehicle.

Commercial Vehicle Insurance

Insurance for commercial vehicle owners, as the name implies, is called commercial vehicle insurance. They must have insurance in place to ensure that their business will run smoothly at all times. If an accident or property damage occurs where your car is involved, you’ll be covered for any damages that arise, including loss of life or physical injury, or property damage. For commercial vehicles, such as trucks, public carriers, cars, private and taxis, etc., this sort of insurance is available.

What would your motor trade insurance cover?

  • It protects the business from being held legally liable for any harm or death that may be caused to a third party as a result of the insured vehicle’s operation.
  • When an insured incident results in damage to the insured vehicle and/or its accessories as specified in the policy’s terms, it is covered.
  • Natural disasters, such as lightning, fire, earthquake, and floods, are all covered by this type of coverage.
  • Natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, earthquakes, earthquakes, earthquakes, earthquakes, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions are not covered.
  • It is possible to broaden the scope of the policy to include demonstrative driving.
  • This policy excludes coverage for depreciation or any other type of indirect loss.
  • In addition to the paid drivers, some insurance companies offer this policy with additional legal responsibilities for employees who travel in or drive the vehicle for a fee.

How does the motor trade insurance work?

It is not easy to buy motor trade insurance instantly, there is an appropriate procedure that is followed to purchase the insurance.

  • Provide an application for the insurance
  • The eligibility criteria are inspected by the insurer.
  • Depending on the size of your business and how much money you make from selling cars, your insurance premium will be computed.
  • You can apply for the specified amount in case of any vehicular damage.
  • The insurer would check for the validation of your claim and revert back accordingly.
  • In the case of a genuine claim, the organization settles it, on the contrary cases it is rejected.

Procedure to claim the insurance

Different insurance companies follow an altogether different procedure for the claims. Thus, it sometimes becomes important to compare the services of all. However, the basic process followed by most has been mentioned below.

  • Immediately after the unfortunate event, notify the company in writing of the occurrence, including the time and date, as well as any damage or loss that resulted.
  • To report a loss, phone the toll-free number of the insurance company, use the handheld device of a Relationship Executive, send an email to the firm’s email address, or go to the insurance company’s local branch office.
  • All necessary papers, such as accounting records, sales receipts, invoices, balance sheets, and other reports requested by an insurance executive must be checked for authenticity in cooperation with the company’s on-call executives.
  • If the insured incident is proven to be the cause of the death, the insurance proceeds are considered
  • In accordance with the policy wording, compensation will be paid.
  • All claims under this policy would be paid to the insured individual if the policy’s rules and conditions were followed.
  • The insurance company will receive the policy amount, and the policyholder will receive the payment from the insurance company.

Exceptions of the motor trade insurance

Not all situations can be considered for an insurance claim. There are certain cases where you might feel the need for insurance but the company feels it otherwise. Some of the exceptions for motor trade insurance are as follows.

  • Damage to the insured vehicle caused by a drunk or drugged driver will not be covered by the insurance policy.
  • Insurance cannot be used in cases of contractual liability
  • Damage to an insured vehicle caused by an unlicensed driver will not be covered.
  • If the loss or damage does not exceed the limit insured, the insurance company might agree to replacement or repair of the vehicle or its accessories.
  • Damage to tyres and tubes may not be covered until the entire insured vehicle is damaged because replacing expense is half the cost of the original tyres and tubes.
  • Anyone who leaves the vehicle insured at the time of the occurrence will not be covered by this insurance, even if they are killed or injured.

Advantages of the motor trade insurance

You can only enjoy the benefits of this insurance if your plea is genuine. Some of the advantages of the motor trade insurance include

  • The person who may be using the car for business or pleasure can be covered by an extension of the policy issued by the motor trade insurer.
  • Under the terms of the policy, all charges and expenses incurred will be covered.
  • When the invoice for the insured car is returned, a claim can be made under the Motor Trade Insurance Policy for the difference between the invoiced cost and the cost of a comparable new vehicle.
  • As long as you’re driving the insured vehicle, you’re covered for any third-party property damage that occurs as a result of that use.

6 Things You Need To Know About Driving In Different Countries

If you’re planning on driving in a foreign country, there are a few things you need to know before you hit the road to avoid potential problems. For example, did you know that some countries require an international driving license? Or that the minimum driving age might be different in other countries? In this blog post, we will discuss some of the most important things to keep in mind when driving in different parts of the world. Let’s get started.

International Driving Licenses

If you’re planning on driving in another country, you will need to obtain an international driving license. This document is issued by your home country’s automobile association and allows you to drive in most other countries around the world. It is important to note that an international driving license is not the same thing as a probationary or restricted license, which is only valid in certain countries. Also, be sure to check if you would just need a translation of your driver’s license. It is important that you check whether it’s legal for you to drive without one of these licenses before getting behind the wheel in another country. For example, Costa Rica doesn’t require an international driving license, while Argentina does.

Probationary or Restricted Licenses

In some countries, such as the United States, Canada, and Australia, you may be able to drive with a probationary or restricted license. These licenses are only valid in certain states or provinces, so it is important that you check the rules before driving in another country. For example, a Canadian Probationary License holder can only drive in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. Usually, you can find this information on your country’s embassy website.

Driving Age

The legal driving age also varies from country to country. In the United States, you must be at least 16 years old to get a driver’s license, but in some European countries, such as Cyprus and Iceland, the minimum driving age is 18. If you’re planning on renting a car in another country, be sure to check the minimum age requirement before you book. In addition, it is important to mention that minors have more restrictions when driving in other countries. For example, in Portugal, drivers under the age of 18 are not allowed to drive between 11 pm and dawn.

Road Signs

Road signs can be confusing, even if you’re familiar with them from your home country. In addition, some countries use different symbols or colors for their road signs. For example, in the United Kingdom, stop signs are red octagons, while in the United States, they are red octagons with a white border. If you’re unsure about what a particular sign means, it is always best to ask a local or consult a map before getting behind the wheel. But, don’t worry too much. Road signs are pretty much self-explanatory, and you’ll quickly get used to them. For example, you would recognize a STOP sign whether it’s in English or Spanish.

Driving Side

In most countries, people drive on the right side of the road, but there are a few exceptions. For example, in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan, people drive on the left side of the road. This can be confusing for visitors from countries where people drive on the right side of the road. If you’re planning on driving in a country where they drive on the left, it is important to familiarize yourself with the rules before getting behind the wheel. In some right-side driving countries, it is even forbidden to have a left-hand drive car. So, if you’re renting a car, be sure to check the requirements before you book.

Other Legal Implications

There are other legal implications that you should be aware of before driving in another country. For example, in Italy, it is illegal to honk your horn except in an emergency. In Germany, there is a nationwide speed limit of 130 km/h (81 mph), but on the autobahn, there are no speed limits. And in Spain, it is illegal to turn right at a red light. So, before you hit the road in another country, be sure to do your research and familiarize yourself with the local laws and regulations. By doing so you will avoid getting a ticket or, worse, getting into an accident.

Now that you know the basics of driving in different countries, you can hit the road with confidence. Just be sure to do your research before driving in a new country and always follow the local laws and regulations. Stay safe and have fun on your next road trip!

BRISTOL, Tenn. (July 21, 2022) – Bristol Motor Speedway officials are offering several new VIP experiences for fans to take advantage of during the Bass Pro Shops Night Race to maximize their visit to the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff weekend at the iconic short track.

Due to the popularity and high demand of the BMS Superfan Suites, two brand new Superfan Suites have been added to the fold, one for fans of Ryan Blaney and another for fans of Richard Childress Racing. The two new Superfan Suites join five others that are already sold out for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race weekend, including Martin Truex Jr., Chase Elliott, defending champ Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch and Stewart-Haas Racing.

A concept Bristol Motor Speedway unveiled in 2019, the Superfan Suites allow fans of one particular driver or team to enjoy the racing action at BMS in a climate-controlled luxury skybox suite that is decorated in the colors and logos of their favorite drivers with comfortable theatre-style seating, closed-circuit televisions and food and beverages.
