Notes of Interest:

Welcome Back: This weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, SS GreenLight Racing with Jeff Lefcourt and Joe Graf Jr. welcome back G-Coin as the primary partner of the team’s No. 07 Ford Mustang for Saturday afternoon’s Crayon 200.

New Hampshire marks the 18th race of the 2022 Xfinity Series season and 12th race overall between 2021 and 2022 where G-Coin, a product that brings gold into the digital age, making it accessible and giving it true utility will be the primary partner.

Download the G-Coin app on iTunes or Google Play and use referral code FHY 6D3 AHT and Joe Graf Jr. will send you $5 worth of G-Coin.

About G-Coin: Unlike cryptocurrencies, G-Coin is a digital title to a real asset: 1 G-Coin token equals 1 gram of Responsible GoldTM.

G-Coin combines the best qualities of traditional gold – stability, security, value, confidence, and social status – with the benefits of digital innovation, allowing users to easily save, send, and spend gold.

Tech-savvy investors keen to avoid cryptocurrency volatility, or physical storage burden and costs, are now able to purchase G-Coin digital gold tokens. G-Coin tokens can be purchased in increments of 0.01gram, giving individual investors better access to the gold market and the ability to use gold for day-to-day purchases.

G-Coin Wallets give users the freedom to send and receive value instantly, securely, and at no cost from the convenience of your mobile phone.

G-Coin Tip of the Week: Responsible Gold is institutional grade 99.99% pure gold that has been responsibly sourced.

Responsible Gold can be traced back to its origin giving the owner or G-Coin token holder knowledge that it has been responsibly mined and sourced throughout the supply chain.

Same Day Settlements With MoneyGram: G-Coin customers with Tier 3 access can use cash to buy or sell G-Coin tokens at participating MoneyGram locations.

To place a buy or sell order using cash, Tier 3 customers need to select the ‘MoneyGram’ option from ‘Pay With’ that appears on the buy | sell screen. Once the order is placed, customers will receive an email with detailed instructions to follow at participating MoneyGram locations.

For buy orders, customers will have 24 hours to make the payment in cash, which is when the balance on the G-Coin wallet is updated. Buy orders expire after 24 hours so customers will need to place a new order after that time.

For sell orders, customers are responsible for collecting the proceeds of the sale in cash at participating MoneyGram locations. The G-Coin balance will be updated when the sell order has been placed, which is irreversible.

Thanks For Your Support: With more than 50 percent of the 2022 Xfinity Series season complete, Joe Graf Jr. and SS GreenLight Racing with Jeff Lefcourt would like to thank their associate marketing partners AVOID, Bass Reaper Bait Company, Bucked Up Energy, CoverSeal, EAT SLEEP RACE Apparel, fgrACCEL, Gtechniq, HazHeart, Model Electronics and ShopRite for their continued support.

Catch Him On The Dial: Before Joe Graf Jr. straps into his No. 07 G-Coin Ford Mustang on Saturday afternoon, the SS GreenLight Racing with Jeff Lefcourt driver will be featured on “The Frontstretch” on SiriusXM Satellite Radio Channel 90 with host Jack Arute LIVE on Saturday morning, July 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Graf will also spotlight G-Coin in several commercial spots during the four-hour program from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Plugging Along: New Hampshire Motor Speedway marks the 18th race that the SS GreenLight Racing with Jeff Lefcourt (SSGLRwJL) team embraces their manufacturer switch from Chevrolet to Ford while incorporating its technical alliance with Stewart-Haas Racing.

SHR will supply the organization with race cars while Roush Yates Engines will provide the legendary Ford horsepower. In addition to providing race cars to SSGLRwJL, SHR will also provide technical support for the entire 33-race season.

Additionally, Graf will have NASCAR Cup Series and Stewart-Haas Racing drivers Cole Custer and Chase Briscoe as teammates for select events throughout the 2022 season.

Don’t Forget The New Co-Owner Too: SS GreenLight Racing has added Jeff Lefcourt as a new co-owner of the Mooresville, N.C.-based team, as well as director of business development for the organization.

Lefcourt, a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. joins SS GreenLight Racing with Jeff Lefcourt (SSGLRwJL) with a long history of racing endeavors including owning Bethel (N.Y.) Motor Speedway in upstate New York, a current-NASCAR sanctioned race track.

The noted philanthropist, entrepreneur and real estate developer has deep ties to grassroots racing and was instrumental in helping secure the Stewart-Haas Racing alliance with SSGLRwJL in 2022.

Joe Graf Jr. Xfinity Series New Hampshire Motor Speedway Stats: Joe Graf Jr. will make his second NASCAR Xfinity Series start at the “Magic Mile” on Saturday afternoon.

In his track debut last July, Graf Jr. drove his No. 07 Bucked Up Energy Drink car to a 24th-place finish after starting the AmBetter Get Vaccinated 200 in the 30th.

Joe Graf Jr. Xfinity Series Career Speedway Stats: At tracks classified as a speedway, Graf has competed in 42 NASCAR Xfinity Series races. He holds an average starting position of 26.1 and an average result of 26.2.

Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway | Alsco Uniforms 250 Race Recap: In the most recent NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Graf returned to the cockpit of the No. 07 CoverSeal Ford Mustang.

After mother nature washed out qualifying, Graf started the summer race from the 1.5-mile speedway in the 31st position. Unfortunately, an ill-handling race car plagued the driver throughout the race.

The handling improved considerably during Stage 3 but left the driver and team with a disappointing 30th-place finish.

Sneaker Mania: Along with the adrenaline of the Motorsports competition, Joe Graf Jr. also has a vogue for hype sneakers. In his current collection, he owns and wears at least 90 limited edition sneakers – and his collection continues to grow every month.

The current estimated value of his collection tops $100,000.

From the Pit Box: Industry veteran Joe Williams is Joe Graf Jr.’s crew chief.

Hello From The Other Side: Graf Jr. has a teammate at SS GreenLight Racing with Jeff Lefcourt. Veteran David Starr will drive the No. 08 Special Report with Brett Baier | TicketSmarter Ford Mustang on Saturday afternoon for his ninth Xfinity start of the 2022 season.

Joe Graf Jr. Pre-Race Quotes:

On New Hampshire Motor Speedway: “After the frustrating race last Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, our team heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway hoping to turn the tide and have a good finish with our No. 07 G-Coin Ford Mustang.

“New Hampshire is a very flat race track where passing can be difficult, especially if you do not have a well-balanced race car. I know Joe (Williams, crew chief) has worked hard on getting our car ready for the race and I believe we can have a productive practice and qualifying session and with a little luck we can contend for a top-20 finish or better on Saturday afternoon.”

On Goals For Second Half of 2022: “We made some strides during the first half of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season but there is certainly room for improvement.

“We have showcased a lot of speed throughout the season so far, but our second half of the year is focused on execution. If we can continue to carry that speed and follow through with the execution – we should be able to turn some heads with some strong and solid finishes.”

AUSTIN DILLON QUOTE:

What are your thoughts on New Hampshire Motor Speedway?

“New Hampshire Motor Speedway has always been a really fun track. I love going there. It’s a flat track. Entry is fun there. It’s different. It’s a different type of feel than what we have anywhere, but it will be interesting to experience it this year in the Next Gen Chevy. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the simulator to prepare. We’re going to go there and do everything we can to earn a win and lock ourselves into the NASCAR Playoffs.”

This Week’s Guaranteed Rate Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway … Tyler Reddick will be making his third NASCAR Cup Series start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend. TYLER REDDICK QUOTES:

What does it take run well at New Hampshire Motor Speedway?

“It’s all about putting the entire race together, from the start to the finish. If you make mistakes at New Hampshire, they’re hard to bounce back from. Normally with 300 laps that sounds like a long time, but the way the race flows and how it plays out it really demands excellence. It’s about executing all day long, making the right adjustments all day long. The track could potentially change quite a bit whether we have resin on the track or not. That could play a factor in the race and how it goes. The straightaways are long at this track and the corners are flat. It’s a one-mile racetrack but it races somewhat like a short track with how you break the corner up and how corner entry is important. It always seems like there are a few different ways to get around a place like Loudon. You’ll see a lot of parity among the cars in the top five. Some up front will be running really fast on entry while some are set up for exit. We’ll just have to figure out where we need to be with our Guaranteed Rate Chevrolet and go from there.”

You ran well earlier this year at Phoenix Raceway, a track that is comparable to New Hampshire. Does that give you confidence entering this weekend?

“It certainly does. We had good speed at Gateway as well and that gives me confidence, too. Looking at that speed should not be a problem. Confidence has been high all year long but especially at these flat tracks it seems like we have plenty of speed.”

This Week’s Whelen Engineering Chevrolet Camaro SS at New Hampshire Motor Speedway … Sheldon Creed will make his first NASCAR Xfinity Series career start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend. So far this season, Creed finished 14th at Phoenix Raceway and eighth at Dover Motor Speedway, two other 1-mile tracks on the schedule. Creed visited New Hampshire Motor Speedway in 2017 in a K&N car and finished fifth.

Whelen Celebrates 70 Years … From a small garage workshop in Connecticut in 1952 to a worldwide leader in emergency warning equipment today, Whelen Engineering continues to push the boundaries of innovation. As we mark our 70th anniversary, we’re proud to continue our founder’s mission of making it safer for those who serve and protect. Whelen has been manufacturing in America for 70 years—we never left, and we’re here to stay.

About Whelen … Whelen Engineering is a family-owned company with a pioneering spirit and a passion to protect the lives of those who protect and serve others. SHELDON CREED QUOTE:

What’s your mindset like heading into this weekend’s race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway?

“I’m super excited for Saturday’s race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It’s a pretty new track for me. The last time I was there was in 2017 in a K&N car, and I finished fifth, so it was a pretty good racetrack for me. I feel like my team, and I can capitalize on that this weekend. We’ve got practice and qualifying on Friday so we can feel out the track and see how our car runs. I’m looking forward to getting out there and running up front like we did at Atlanta. Our results have shown the kind of cars we are bringing to the track every weekend so I’m ready to get out there and get a win for my team. It’s also really cool that Whelen has a headquarters in New Hampshire, I definitely want to get a good finish for them, too.”

The last time Hill was at New Hampshire Motor Speedway was in 2015 in a K&N car. He started fifth and finished fifth in the race.

Home State Winner … The Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender won last week at Atlanta Motor Speedway, his home track, securing his second win of the season. He led 73 laps and started fifth enroute to his first victory in his home state of Georgia and second of the 2022 season.

AUSTIN HILL QUOTE:

Coming off a huge win at your home track of Atlanta Motor Speedway, how’s your motivation heading into this weekend’s race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway?

“I’m so thrilled for our No. 21 Bennett Transportation & Logistics Chevrolet team for getting the win last weekend at Atlanta. A win at your home track is always so special and I really think it’s the motivation our team needed as the playoffs are approaching. I’m actually really looking forward to getting to New Hampshire this weekend, too. We haven’t had the best short-track program this season and we’ve struggled to get the results we’ve needed. My team has been working really hard preparing for these races coming up and I think we’ve got a good plan heading into the weekend. Practice and qualifying will be really important since I haven’t been there in many years and it will give us a chance to see what we need for Saturday’s race. It’s going to be a good one, though, and I’m looking forward to parking our No. 21 in Victory Lane again.”

How to finance a motorhome

Photo by Alan Billyeald on Unsplash

If you’re dreaming of seeing the world at your own pace, a motorhome can be an awesome investment. Be it for regular weekend trips or a long-term journey throughout Europe, a motorhome is the perfect way to see the world. However, the best motorhomes aren’t cheap. So, in this article, we take a deep dive into some of the costs associated with purchasing a motorhome, and provide you with some ideas about how to fund your dream vehicle.

What is the price of a motorhome?

In the UK, the average price of a motorhome is £48,995. That being said, there are a number of factors that influence this price and it largely depends on the make, model, and size that you’re going for, as we explain below:

  • Brand – the likes of Hymer and Bessacar are the top brands in the UK, and many of their vehicles cost in excess of £70,000.
  • Berth – the size of motorhomes is given in terms of berth, and indicates how many people the vehicle can sleep. You can opt for 2, 4, 6, and even 8 berth vehicles, so you will need to decide what’s best for your budget.
  • New or used – as you might expect, brand-new motorhomes cost more than used vehicles, so you can pick yourself up a bargain if you don’t mind a used camper van. Just be mindful that you might have to make some money available for renovations.

Realistically, for a good, new motorhome in the UK, you will probably have to pay somewhere between £40,000 and £80,000, which is a sizeable investment. Conversely, you can buy a used model as little as £5,000, but you could end up spending £500 – £30,000 in renovations. So, as you can see, it’s difficult to predict exactly how much your motorhome will cost.

How should you pay for a motorhome?

You have several options when it comes to financing your motorhome:

Savings

Saving up and paying for your dream motorhome with cash is a smart move. After all, you can settle the transaction outright and you don’t need to pay interest on money that you have borrowed. If you haven’t quite saved enough for your dream model, you could always use your savings and top up with a personal loan, as we explain below.

Personal loan

You can apply for an unsecured personal loan to finance the purchase of your motorhome from a lender like Koyo. You can apply for anywhere between £1,500 and £12,000 to contribute to the cost of your motorhome, or perhaps even toward any rennvoations that you plan to carry out on an old model. This is a great option if you don’t have quite enough money saved up to complete your purchase, and allows you to pay back the money over an agreed period of time.

Credit card

If you have access to a zero-interest credit period, a credit card could be a viable option for buying a motorhome. However, most credit cards are limited to purchases of £5,000, so this is only really viable if you’re planning to buy a cheaper model that you’re going to renovate.

Hire purchase agreement

When you buy a motorhome directly from a dealer, you can enter into a hire purchase agreement. In most cases, you have to make a deposit of around 10%, and you will then be required to make monthly payments over an agreed period of time until the total sum is paid off. Although they’re easy to set up, hire purchase agreements are often expensive, so be sure to do your sums before agreeing to one.

Ultimately, there are several options available to you when it comes to financing a motorhome purchase. Make sure you weigh up the pros and cons of each option before arriving at your final decision.

Toyota’s World Premiere of the All-New Crown Series

While inheriting the Crown’s DNA of innovation and limit-pushing, it has been renewed as a flagship for a new era with four variations to meet the diverse values and lifestyles of customers.
The new Crown (Crossover type) is an innovative package that combines a sedan and an SUV, and offers new values unconstrained by conventional concepts.

  • Powerful styling with large-diameter wheels and a simple, high-quality design.
  • Excellent ease of entry and exit as well as high visibility are achieved by raising the hip point.
  • The passenger-embracing interior design and the roomy cabin space make every seat feel like a first-class seat.
  • Two types of powertrains with individual characteristics are employed. The newly developed 2.4-liter Turbo Hybrid System delivers a powerful yet comfortable ride, while the Series Parallel Hybrid System, which has evolved over the years, delivers a high-quality, smooth ride.
Toyota City, Japan, July 15, 2022 – (JCN Newswire) – TOYOTA has unveiled the all new Crown for the first time in the world, and will release the Crown (Crossover type) as the first model around the fall of this year(1).

The Crown made its initial debut in 1955 as Toyota’s first mass production passenger vehicle created with Toyota’s own domestic technology. The DNA of “innovation and limit-pushing” that led to the creation of the first independently developed luxury car in the early postwar period has been passed down to successive models of Crowns for the past 67 years, always pursuing new values that are one step ahead of the times and loved by many customers. However, the times have changed even faster, and the Crown has become unable to fully meet the diversifying needs of its customers, and its presence as a flagship vehicle has become less significant.

In designing the new Crown, the development team thoroughly reexamined what “Crown” is, and as a result of their pursuit of a “Crown for a new era,” they have created four completely new models. In addition to the Crossover type, a new style that combines a sedan and an SUV, the Sport offers a sporty driving experience with an enticing atmosphere and an easy-to-drive package. The Sedan is a new formal design that meets the needs of chauffeurs, and the Estate is a functional SUV with a mature atmosphere and ample driving space. The new series will be rolled out in about 40 countries and regions.

The details of the new Crown (Crossover type) are as follows.

Vehicle Outline

  1. The “Crown” for the future reimagined from the ground up with a high-quality minimalist design

Exterior Design

  • The stylish, coupe-like silhouette is combined with elevated styling that conveys a sense of strength, achieving both fluidity and dynamism and expressing a completely new form of a flagship vehicle for a new era.
  • The headlights and taillights, connected from left to right in a single straight line, and the side view that expresses sophistication through surface variation without relying on character lines, combine to create a simple yet refined and majestic design.
  • Large-diameter tires that break with the conventional idea of a sedan have been adopted. By applying innovations to the body structure to create an underbody that extends outward close to the sides of the body and carefully examining the balance of the spaces between the body and the tires, we have created a powerful style that is neither a sedan nor an SUV with the sense of stability representative of an elevated sedan.

Interior Design

  • Horizontally integrating the display and operating equipment creates a functional layout that can be operated intuitively from any seat. The wrap-around form from the instrument panel to the doors also give a sense that all seats are special, enabling the driver to focus on driving and providing comfortable and enjoyable mobility for passengers.
  • Meticulous attention to every interior component, including the understated and welcoming decorations of WARM STEEL, an invitingly shaped and comfortable shift knob, seats that focus on instantly recognizable finishing and provide a sense of security when seated, and other features, helps create a space with a sense of quality and richness.

Color Design

  • In terms of body colors, the newly developed “Precious Bronze” and “Precious Ray” as well as other distinctive bytone colors are coordinated to express the new Crown’s transformation. A total of 12 body color and four interior color combinations offer a wide range of variations.
  1. Effortless and dignified driving and a comfortable ride becoming of a Toyota flagship

2.4-liter Turbo Hybrid System

  • The hybrid system, which combines an inline 4-cylinder turbo engine that produces powerful torque even at low RPM, the latest eAxle electric powertrain that provides high driving torque, and a newly-developed bipolar nickel-hydrogen battery have been combined for the first time by Toyota. The hybrid system responds linearly to the operation of the accelerator by the driver creating a driving feel with a sense of comfortable acceleration.

2.5-liter Series Parallel Hybrid System

  • The Crown (Crossover type) is equipped with an optimized, high-efficiency hybrid system and a newly-developed bi-polar nickel-hydrogen battery, achieving class-leading fuel economy and quietness and further advancing the high-quality and smooth driving performance distinctive of the Crown.

Newly developed platform

  • Using a hip point higher than earlier sedans enabled through the adoption of large-diameter wheels makes entry and exit easier and allows excellent visibility. Additional space is provided above the head and to the front and rear to create a comfortable interior space with the sense that every seat is a first-class seat.
  • While the package prioritizes ease of entry and exit and driving, the TNGA platform provides a lightweight and well-balanced high-rigidity body. The use of McPherson struts in the front and a multi-link suspension in the rear also allows for solid straight-line stability characteristic of the Crown, agility, and a flat feeling that does not blur the line of sight. All these features along with a smooth ride with minimal vibration were pursued to achieve a comfort level that makes you want to stay in the car for a long time.
  1. The most advanced safety and driving support systems provide reassuring and convenient driving

Toyota Safety Sense
Toyota Safety Sense,(2) the latest active safety package with advanced and improved functions, is standard on all Crown grades. The range of accidents it can respond to has been expanded even further, enabling enjoyable driving with peace of mind.

Toyota Teammate
The new Crown (Crossover type) is equipped with Toyota Teammate, a suite of driver-assistance technologies. Advanced Drive(3) (support during traffic congestion), which supports safe driving in traffic congestion, Advanced Park(3) (with remote function), which automatically parks and exits from a parking space in a variety of parking situations and can be operated remotely as well, and other safety and convenient advanced functions are included.

The new Crown (Crossover type) will also start being offered via the KINTO(4) car subscription service. When ordered through KINTO, automobile insurance, periodic maintenance, and various other vehicle expenses are included in the monthly payments. Customers, corporations, and individuals can sign up either online or at a dealer to enjoy easy access.

In addition, if the “Cancellation Fee Free Plan” is selected as the payment method, the cancellation fee can be reduced to zero and the vehicle usage can be continued after the expiration of the initial three-year contract period by paying a predetermined application fee. The CROSSOVER G “Advanced Leather Package” monthly fee starts at 89,100 JPY (including tax) (5). For details, please visit https://kinto-jp.com/lp/crown/

(1) The grades other than CROSSOVER RS “Advanced,” CROSSOVER G “Advanced/Leather Package,” and CROSSOVER G “Advanced” are scheduled to be produced after January 2023.

(5) In the case of the Entry Package without additional options, 500,170 JPY (including tax) is required as an application fee, and the total cost for three years would amount to 3,707,770 JPY (including tax).

The History of Gambling from Antiquity to Our Time

Photo by Keenan Constance on Unsplash

The gambling spirit accompanies a person from the moment of birth. And games have accompanied humanity since the dawn of civilization. Lucky games are changing and evolving with humanity, said Darren Keane from Storm International.

First games

The very first game of chance, which is still popular today, is dice – cubes with marked sides. People were playing dice in Ancient Egypt and Rome, India, and China. Even the Bible mentioned dice.

It has not lost its appeal in 4,000 years. After the fall of Rome, the game spread to Europe. In parallel, the inhabitants of the East took a great interest in dice. This game is popular today, people play dice in many casinos in the form of craps or sic bo. By the way, this is one of the most popular games in Asia.

Playing cards is another ancient attribute. You can play hundreds of different card games. The first playing cards were used in China in the 7th century. Traveling through India, Persia, and Egypt they got to Europe.

The 17th century gave mankind to a roulette. We don’t know who exactly invented it. A popular rumor is that the author is the mathematician Blaise Pascal.

The Advent of the Casino

Different places where people come to play dice or cards are mentioned in the books about Ancient Greece, Rome and China. But specialized casinos appeared only in the 17th century. And where! In the church of Moses in Venice to control the players during the spring carnival. After that, casinos have begun opening all over Europe, in the 18th century they moved to America.

Gradually formed a classic set of casino games:

• Roulette (there may be a few kinds of it);

• Cards (poker, blackjack, baccarat, and so on);

• Dice.

The development of technology has enriched the range of games. People invented slot machines. The first mechanical slots appeared in England in 1887. And the legendary Liberty Bell was born in America in 1905. By the 1990s, mechanical slots were completely replaced by electric ones.

Development of Online Casino

Developers of programs for slot machines have guessed to adapt their software to PC, noted Darren Keane, Storm International CEO. The first were offline games that you could only play for fun. In 1994, Microgaming created the first platform for online gambling. This year was the year of the birth of the online casino.

All popular games have moved to the Internet spaces. Roulette in dozens of variations, hundreds of card games, and thousands of slot machines appeared at special sites. Best online casinos introduced games with a live dealer. Now anyone can play cards, roulette, bingo, and Fortune wheel with real croupier from home.

Modern slots are very advanced. They use 3D graphics, special soundtracks, and complex scenarios. Since 2014, slots with the possibilities of social games become a separate genre.

The Birth of a Mobile Casino

Casino games for mobile phones appeared 10 years after the first online casino slot. At first, they were offline, had low resolution, and had very few functions. Yet this was enough to capture the players’ attention.

In 2005, the first games with real bets appeared. Only several sites offered them. So there were the first mobile casinos. The novelty was unique and a lot of people wanted to play from the phone.

Since phones have progressed quickly, mobile casinos are not much different from PC online casinos. They contain the same online slots, live casino games, and sportsbooks. They have the same menu items and identical functionality. But menus of mobile casinos are finger-orientated.

In 2017, 7.5 billion mobile devices worked, and 83% of them used the Internet. 20% of users play casino! By 2022, the number of gadgets increase to 9 billion, and the number of mobile players up to 50%. That once again confirms that people need to realize their sense of adventure.

Hardpoint Ready For Bullring at Lime Rock Park With Galante, McAlister

The No. 22 Racing To End Alzheimer’s Porsche Cayman Will Take on Road Racing’s Short Track During This Weekend’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Race

LAKEVILLE, Connecticut (July 14, 2022) – Hardpoint’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge program is on the road once again, this time for round seven of the 10-race championship at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut. Nick Galante and Sean McAlister return to co-drive the No. 22 Racing To End Alzheimer’s Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport in the two-hour race.

The race is scheduled for Saturday, July 16 at 11:05 a.m. EDT and can be seen live on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service. It will be re-aired on USA network on Saturday, July 23 at 12:30 p.m. EDT.

Hardpoint At Lime Rock Pre-Race News and Notes

  • Lime Rock is the shortest track on the IMSA calendar at 1.5 miles, with a lap time of around 54 seconds and an average speed of nearly 100 miles per hour. That quick lap places pace at a premium to stay on the lead lap of the race and in contention.
  • Galante has a history at the track, including a pole position and a runner-up finish in what was then the ST class in 2018. He also has a pair of fourth-place finishes, just off the podium at Lime Rock.
  • Galante is a native New Englander, hailing from Greenfield, Massachusetts. A number of friends and family are on the guest list for the race on the calendar closest to his boyhood home.
  • This is McAlister’s first visit to Lime Rock Park. That marks back-to-back races at new tracks for McAlister in his rookie season in Michelin Pilot Challenge.
  • Because of the lap time and the unpredictable nature of full course caution periods, pit stop speed is at a premium at Lime Rock. Hardpoint’s advantage in that arena comes in the form of tire changers Jason Jannetti and Cody Forbes, who have worked to improve throughout the season and are now amond the quickest five-lug tire changers in the championship based on time.
  • Hardpoint’s No. 22 Porsche Cayman enters the weekend 20th in the team standings, despite missing the opening round at Daytona while the program was coming together.
  • The Racing To End Alzheimer’s program is well on its way to its goal of 222 names of loved ones who are or have suffered from Alzheimer’s on the livery, with more than 115 names on the car at Lime Rock. Each name and hometown represents a $250 donation, matched by Legistics, Inc., that helps to fund the care and the cure for Alzheimer’s disease.
  • Hardpoint will make its SRO Americas debut next weekend at Watkins Glen International, utilizing the team’s existing crew members and experience with the Porsche 911 GT3 R to provide pre-event and trackside support for a new teammate in the GT America and GT World Challenge races. This is another milestone moment for Hardpoint in 2022, following the recent addition of Brady Behrman’s International GT program.
  • Earlier this week, Hardpoint announced a partnership with Denmark-based Asetek, a sim racing gear innovator, with Asetek SimSports racing products used in the Hardpoint shop and with the Hardpoint eSports team.

Hardpoint Quote Board

Nick Galante, Driver, No. 22 Porsche Cayman: “Lime Rock is fast, the laps are short, and there’s never a break. That makes it a lot of fun and at the same time very difficult. It was good to me the last time I was here in 2018. I won the pole, and my teammate and I finished second in the race. We’ll have our hands full this week but the Hardpoint guys will be ready to go if we need a green flag pit stop, which could really be the difference in this race. As always, I’m proud to represent Racing To End Alzheimer’s at the track closest to my hometown, and we hope we can add some more names to the Porsche this weekend on our way to a strong finish.”

Sean McAlister, Driver, No. 22 Porsche Cayman: “I’ve never been to Lime Rock so this will be the second new track in a row for this year. But I do know that it is our shortest lap on the schedule so being on pace and having good pit stops is very important, or it’s easy to go a lap down. This weekend I’m looking forward to flipping a new chapter to this season. It obviously hasn’t been the greatest season results-wise so I’m hoping that I can get better acquainted with the car and provide the team with a much-deserved result. Thanks again to the Hardpoint guys working their butts off to get the car repaired so that we could get back out on track this weekend at Lime Rock.”
