Wright Motorsports Scores Podium, Makes Points Gain in Heated Lime Rock Weekend

LAKEVILLE, Conn., (July 17) — Wright Motorsports braved sweltering temperatures and stifling humidity this weekend at Lime Rock Park, leaving the Northeast Grand Prix with a hefty points pull to go towards their Michelin Pilot Challenge championship endeavor. Lightning cut short the two-hour, 40-minute IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship sprint race, disappointing drivers and teams alike, eager to earn valuable championship points.

“It’s definitely disappointing that the red flag ate so much into the IMSA race,” said Team Owner John Wright. “However, I’m still proud of our team, on both programs. The WeatherTech guys had a strong car to finish that race, and the Michelin Pilot Challenge group had an awesome race to finish third and get that top spot in the championship standings. Great job all around.”

IMSA WEATHERTECH SPORTSCAR CHAMPIONSHIP
After a less than ideal qualifying session on Friday, the team put together a strong strategy to allow for the No. 16 Porsche 911 GT3 R to work its way up through the field. The entire GTD field drove into turn one after the green flag, resulting in the No. 16 getting shuffled back several positions. Avoiding any contact, driver Trent Hindman kept his head down as the field spread out. The Porsche came alive in Hindman’s second stint, and the young racer and was able to climb back up to eighth before a weather-related full-course caution. The clouds rolled in over Lime Rock Park, and with one hour, ten minutes remaining on the clock, the race was red-flagged for lightning in the area. The race did not resume, and with the eighth-place finish, Wright Motorsports unofficially maintains their fifth-place standing in the GTD class team points.

Incidents aside, I’ve never had a race where I wasn’t able to get in. it’s unfortunate we didn’t get to run the final stint. We worked hard this week, and we were certainly hopeful that the final stint was going to come our way. I appreciate our partners and wish we could have put on a better show for our fans. Sometimes Mother Nature has another plan.

Trent Hindman
Big thanks to the Wright Motorsports crew. We showed a lot of speed in our Porsche 911 GT3 R this weekend. I’m not sure what happened in qualifying and our first stint. We need to investigate a little bit. Our first stint was dictated by a lack of pace in qualifying, and as soon as we got into the second stint in the race, the car just came alive. There are some things we can investigate and the silver lining is that we did everything correctly and in the right direction. Something outside of our control dictated our result today. We have lots of positives coming out Lime Rock and going into Road America.
MICHELIN PILOT CHALLENGE
After an incident in qualifying the No. 16 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport started the race from 21st position, but Hardwick had a strong opening start, passing several cars in the first laps of the race. A series of cautions and penalties also played into the team’s hands, and the car gained nine positions in the first ten minutes. He closed out his stint in eleventh, and true to team form, a fast and efficient pit stop with a fuel fill, driver change, and the addition of tires, brought Jan Heylen into the race in seventh position. Despite saving fuel, Heylen put in strong opening lap times as the Michelin tires came up to temperature. Racing three-wide at times, he climbed up to fourth as the field’s level of aggression increased each minute closer to the checkered flag. In the final 20 minutes, various cars had contact or went off course, while the No. 16 Porsche raced smartly for position, solidly holding a third-place result to the end of the race. The strong result brings the team to tie for first in the Michelin Pilot Challenge GS point championship.

Both series next head to the fan-favorite circuit of Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for the next pair of sprint races. On-track activities will begin Friday, August 6th, with Michelin Pilot Challenge’s race taking place on Saturday evening, followed by the IMSA WeatherTech headlining races on the afternoon of Sunday, August 8th. The team’s three-car Porsche Carrera Cup North America Presented by the Cayman Islands operation will also return to action for the one-make championship’s seventh and eighth rounds on the four-mile circuit. What an unbelievable finish. I’ll remember this race for a long time. From dealing with the mistake I made yesterday to come from dead last all the way to third place was remarkable. It was one of the greatest races of my life, for sure. We owe it all to the team for getting the car prepared. It was great and brilliant to drive. Credit also goes to Jan Heylen. He put in a mega stint at the end to push us up to the podium. I feel fortunate for this finish, and to be leaving halfway through the season tied for the championship with the BMW. I’m super excited for Road America to see how the season finishes from here.

Jan Heylen
I was really looking forward to coming to Lime Rock Park. There are always good battles here. Starting from the back, it was going to be a tough race for us, but this is a fun place to come through the field. The team had really good strategy and Ryan Hardwick drove a good stint. He definitely did half of the work. We had good pace in practice in the long runs, and in the race, I saved my tires and settled in, and it all came together in the end. Third place is a good result, and we’re tied for the points lead. It’s a super weekend for us. We’re going to keep doing what we’re doing and keep chipping away at it.

TOYOTA QUOTES

CHRISTOPHER BELL, No. 54 DEWALT Toyota Supra, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 1st

What is it that you have figured out about New Hampshire?

“What I’ve got figured out is that I’ve got really, really fast race cars to drive. I just love being here with Joe Gibbs Racing. All these Supras that I’ve had the last three times I’ve been here have been amazing. Hopefully my Camry is just as good tomorrow, but if feels good to win, finally got DEWALT in victory lane. I know it’s been a long time coming.”

What made you seek out the fan to give the flag to after the win?

“I was looking and I don’t see a lot of Christopher Bell shirts up there, but there is another one up there. It’s really cool to see a kid wearing my t-shirt. That’s really special. Hopefully he has a lifelong memory. Man, I love this place.”

How much did you learn in today’s race for tomorrow’s Cup race with no PJ1 on the track?

“I think these weekends with no practice and qualifying, you’re not sitting in the car until they drop the green flag. This is a really big advantage, especially coming here, the Xfinity Series rules package is really similar to the Cup Series rules package. Hopefully, it will be pretty similar and I hope that we have a really fast Camry tomorrow. Just really proud to be at Joe Gibbs Racing. Everyone here does an amazing job.”

Have you ever won your first three races at a track before?

“I’m not sure, but New Hampshire Motor Speedway sure has been good to me. I love coming up here.”

How difficult was it to stay up front throughout this race?
“That last restart was really tough. I was just taking off really loose so Justin (Allgaier) was able to stay right on my left rear and made it tough to where I couldn’t get off the corners very good. Man, once this thing got some laps underneath of it, we were really, really fast. Can’t thank Chris Gayle (crew chief) and everyone on this No. 54 group to bring such a strong DEWAL Supra to the race track. It’s just an honor to be able to drive really fast race cars.”

Are you campaigning for a piece of granite after your streak of success at this track?

“We’ll have to see. This place has been fun. Thank you to all the fans for coming out today and I’m sure we’re going to have another good race tomorrow.”

DANIEL HEMRIC, No. 18 Poppy Bank Toyota Supra, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 3rd

How was your race today?

“Just a solid day. Really just good Poppy Bank Toyota Supra – not great, just good. We were a little off to the 54 (Christopher Bell) there the first 15 or 20 laps of the run and then my car would lock in and we would be a half-a-tenth or a tenth better catching him there in the last 20 laps, but then run out of laps and regroup and do it all over again. I was hoping we would make the right adjustments there on the last stop. Dave Rogers (crew chief) tried and my car came in faster, but still just never got the front turning like the next-to-last run to let us drive forward. Hard racing with the 7 (Justin Allgaier) there, it was fun and hopefully the fans enjoyed it. That’s one thing, if I was racing for the win I probably wouldn’t have been so nice, but we have a lot of races left this year so we’ll have our time.”

HARRISON BURTON, No. 20 DEX Imaging Toyota Supra, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 5th

What did you need more of in today’s race to get the win?

“Early in the race we really struggled firing off. The first run, we were great firing off and the rest of the race, we were horrible. I don’t really know why that is. I don’t know if the track took a big swing on us, but I just couldn’t fire off good enough. The last stage, I thought we got it good to start and I just gave up too much on the end of the run and was getting tight. Just have to find a way in the middle of that I guess. It’s so hard. I put us behind the eight ball on the first pit stop and slid through my box a little bit and just barely didn’t have enough room to get out and had to backup and lost a lot of track position. Had a really fast Dex Imaging Supra to fire and just need to do a better job of staying with the race track and keeping ourselves in contention throughout the whole race.”

Ford Performance NASCAR: Cindric and Herbst Finish Top 10

Ford Performance Notes and Quotes
NASCAR Xfinity Series — Ambetter Get Vaccinated 200
New Hampshire Motor Speedway | Saturday, July 17, 2021

FORD FINISHING RESULTS
4th — Austin Cindric
10th — Riley Herbst
13th — Ryan Sieg

AUSTIN CINDRIC, No. 22 Car Shop Ford Mustang — “We started a little bit off the eight-ball. We didn’t have enough short run speed, and got to where we could recover from that and just trying to figure out which one was our strength and which one was our weakness. Trying to be good on the short run and hold on for the drive on the long run, so we probably made the wrong call there with the final adjustment, but I think it was gonna be the right thing to be able to battle with the 54. I could have been a bit more of a jerk to pass the 7, but it wasn’t worth it, so it was a good fight between the 18, the 7 and myself. It was fun racing, so we’ll move on. Obviously, it was a solid points day for the Car Shop Ford Mustang. We have a good little off week for the guys to re-juice and get ready for Watkins.”

RYAN SIEG, No. 39 CMR Construction and Roofing/A-Game Ford Mustang — “We lost some track position on pit road and tried to work on the car earlier. We got better and then we would pass some people and then lose our track position. It’s hard to get back because it’s so hard to pass here, but, all in all, this CMR Ford was pretty decent. We need to work on our speed and get a better package here. Even at Phoenix we were just OK, but it’s tough here. A lot more goes into it here, so we were just a little bit off. Hopefully, we can get it better, but, all in all, it was a decent day.”

RILEY HERBST, No. 98 Monster Energy Ford Mustang — “I feel like we should have run in the top five for sure. We had really, really good speed before the comp caution and then obviously we got wrecked on that restart. I guess I’m happy with the way we battled back, but it’s just frustrating. I feel like it’s our whole season — so fast and get wrecked, make a mistake or something. We’ll take two weeks off and try to get one at the Glen.”

WAS IT A CASE OF JUST NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE FRONT TWO ROWS ON THE RESTART? “I feel like we did OK from my point of view, but we got hit in the back. Once we got hit in the back and they just turned us in the fence, so that was pretty frustrating.”

YOU GAINED SOME POINTS IN THE PLAYOFF BATTLE. DO YOU FEEL THAT LAST SPOT IS ATTAINABLE? “I think it’s always attainable to be quite honest with you, and it’s kind of disappointing that we’re not top five in the points. I feel like we should be if we would have finished where we ran. That’s just kind of the story all year.”

Brian Henderson Qualifies TCR Honda Civic Third at Lime Rock for Atlanta Speedwerks in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge

Henderson and Robert Noaker Third in No. 84 Sabelt/Pagid Honda Civic TCR;
No. 94 Qelo Capital/Dinner With Racers Honda Civic TCR Going To Back-Up Car For Saturday’s Race

LIME ROCK, Connecticut (July 16, 2021) – Brian Henderson drove the No. 84 Sabelt/Pagid Honda Civic TCR to third on the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge grid for Atlanta Speedwerks during Friday’s qualifying, setting up a second row start for Saturday’s two-hour Lime Rock Park 120.

Saturday’s race is scheduled for 11:05 a.m. EDT and can be seen live via TrackPass on the NBC Sports app.

Henderson’s best time during the 15-minute qualifying session came in 54.484 seconds (97.657 mph) on his 10th lap of the 1.5-mile circuit. Henderson will start the race and run the opening stint before passing the car to Robert Noaker for the run to the finish.

It’s the sixth time this season in as many races that at least one Atlanta Speedwerks Honda Civic has qualified in the top three TCR positions.

“We’re really happy with P3 overall,” Henderson said. “We’re really close on time, and we’ve been working on race pace for the end when Robert will be there. I think we’re setup pretty good for that. We should be quick at the end and hopefully we’ll come away with a couple of cars on the podium.”

Ryan Eversley, who sits second in the season-long Driver Standings, and co-driver Scott Smithson will start the No. 94 Qelo Capital/Dinner With Racers Honda Civic TCR from the rear of the field after a practice-session crash. The team is currently prepping a back-up car for use in Saturday’s race.

Atlanta Speedwerks is riding a two-race winning streak after sweeping the back-to-back Watkins Glen races, first with Eversley and team owner Todd Lamb in the No. 94 machine, and then with Henderson and Noaker in the No. 84 Honda Civic.

With that win, Henderson and Noaker have moved to sixth in the Driver and Team Championship and are hoping to improve more in Saturday’s race.

Pre-race festivities begin at 10:05 a.m. EDT on Saturday morning, with the green flag at 11:05 a.m. EDT on the NBC Sports app.

About Atlanta Speedwerks
Atlanta Speedwerks is a professional road racing team and prep shop, providing road racing services, car builds, roll cages, arrive and drive programs, and performance parts. CORVETTE RACING AT LIME ROCK: Taylor Leads Corvette Sweep

Milner second in GTLM qualifying as rain looms for Saturday’s all-GT race

LAKEVILLE, Conn. (July 16, 2021) – Jordan Taylor claimed the overall pole position for the Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park on Friday to lead a 1-2 result for Corvette Racing.

Taylor, driving the No. 3 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette C8.R with Antonio Garcia, set a best GT Le Mans (GTLM) lap of 49.958 (106.216 mph) in a 15-minute session for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Saturday’s 3:10 p.m. ET race, with rain predicted, will be an all-GT affair with GTLM and GT Daytona (GTD) headlining IMSA’s return to Lime Rock Park.

Taylor and teammate Antonio Garcia enter Lime Rock after back-to-back victories at Watkins Glen and lead the GTLM Drivers Championship, as does Chevrolet in the Manufacturers standings.

Taylor outqualified Tommy Milner in the No. 4 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Corvette by just 0.142 seconds. Milner and Nick Tandy were second in the most recent GTLM race at Watkins Glen behind the No. 3 C8.R but were in winning positions in both races at The Glen. They also won the non-points Detroit round in mid-June.

Corvette Racing is a five-time winner at Lime Rock but this is the first race the seven-turn, 1.474-mile circuit for the Corvette C8.R, a shot at an overall race victory during one of the busiest races on the calendar.

Like Watkins Glen within the last month, Lime Rock Park was one venue at which the Corvette C8.R didn’t compete during its debut season. That didn’t impact the team during the back-to-back weekends at Watkins Glen, however, when Corvette Racing took the race win, pole position and fastest race lap in both the six-hour enduro and two-hour, 40-minute sprint race.

The Northeast Grand Prix from Lime Rock Park will air at 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 17 with live streaming coverage on TrackPass and NBC Sports Gold at 3:05 p.m. ET. Live audio coverage from IMSA Radio will be available on IMSA.com, Sirius 216, XM 202 and SiriusXM Online 992.

JORDAN TAYLOR, NO. 3 MOBIL 1/SiriusXM CHEVROLET CORVETTE C8.R – GTLM POLE-WINNER: “It’s been a busy day. It’s the first time with the C8.R at Lime Rock. Unfortunately we didn’t race here last year, so we’re learning a lot. We had a dry session, a damp session and then qualifying. So we’ve proved that the car is good in all conditions here. It was a good lap to get the pole, and the guys have done a good job leading into this weekend. It’s a new track for us with this car so rolling off the truck strong was important. It was good but we’ve been making some changes to see how the car reacts. So far so good but tomorrow could be a different story.”

MORE ON QUALIFYING: “Today was a busy day with two practices and qualifying. It’s the first time we’ve had the C8.R here at Lime Rock, so a lot of work went into this weekend with a lot of preparation. We rolled off the truck very strong. We made some changes through Practice Two even though it was damp to get a read on it. Obviously in qualifying the car was quite strong. The biggest thing was just finding a clear lap with the GTD cars on track. Obviously it’s been a good run for the 3 car so far this season, but at the same time the 4 car has been on our tail every weekend. It’s good to have that intra-team battle. I think we’ll have that all day tomorrow.”

RACING FOR OVERALL VICTORY THIS WEEKEND: “I was thinking about that this morning. When you go to the drivers’ briefing, the front-row guys usually go and talk to the Race Director because you’re leading the field. It will be different not having anyone in front of us and not having prototypes coming around in traffic. In one aspect, it will be easier without the traffic but at the same time the intensity will be super-high just because you’re flat-out the whole time. It’s difficult to pass the GTD guys so it will be tricky in traffic. I think strategy could come into play tomorrow. It should be a good race.”

PLACES FOR IMPROVEMENT: “Today was messy with the conditions. Antonio started this morning on new tires, and I got in on older tires. The afternoon session was damp so I drove on rain tires and then in the intermediate conditions we went to slicks. Everyone in GTLM was kind of figuring out what it was like on new tires in the dry here. We weren’t here last year so there’s a lot to learn. For me, there was a lot of experimenting. Brake points were different. Carrying speed through Turn Six and Turn Seven… I had a couple of big moments just because I thought I could carry a lot more speed than I actually could. But it’s good to have that in my pocket for tomorrow to know where the limits are.”

TOMMY MILNER, NO. 4 MOBIL 1/SiriusXM CHEVROLET CORVETTE C8.R – QUALIFIED SECOND IN GTLM: “We just missed it a bit with the setup. We’re still working on getting the balance where we need to be. Tomorrow is going to be the challenge if it’s dry with the high temps and the tire degradation. If it’s wet, which is looking likely, that presents its own challenges as well. We got some good work in today but the majority will come tomorrow in warmup to make any last-minute improvements.”

4 Things to Do Before Opting for An Auto Insurance

Photo by john vicente on Unsplash

For any vehicle owner, protecting their cars or trucks from possible damage is imperative. Even the use of car insurance for sorn car is an essential part of being a car owner as well, just in case their vehicle has an accident when off the road. Since the damage might incur repair costs and third-party compensation in some cases, you need to opt for an auto insurance plan that covers the damage costs when in use. The right way to do this is to look at multiple factors before choosing the best car insurance. You can prepare a car checklist and see whether the insurance policy helps you tick off the boxes or not.

Here are some of the things you should do when you are opting for auto insurance:

1. Check the age of your car

To begin with, you first need to consider the age of your car when opting for an insurance policy. This is because the older car you have, the more you might end up paying. While most insurance policies offer coverage of physical damage, you might not need this if your car is old. Based on its age, you can consider removing physical damage from your auto insurance plan after you ask a professional.

2. Examine the coverage options

An important thing you need to take into consideration when choosing your insurance policy is coverage. You need to know whether the policy offers coverage for structural damage or does it include the costs of damage to the driver. You need to choose the policy that caters best to your needs. In case you are using your vehicle for business, you might need to opt for a comprehensive auto insurance plan that offers coverage for different purposes.

3. Look for discounted premiums

As a thumb rule, the more coverage you seek, the higher your premiums would be. However, depending on the state and the agency, there are various provisions for discounts or premiums. For instance, some policies would have lower premiums if you are non-alcoholic, drive only for pleasure, or have security essentials installed. Besides, if you are a student with good grades or a homeowner for more than three years, you are eligible for a discount and affordable rates on car insurance.

4. Consider your driving record

Finally, you need to consider your driving record when opting for an auto insurance policy. This means that if you have not had any speeding tickets or driving issues in the recent past, you are likely to get a good plan. On the other hand, if you have a few tickets that would disappear soon, you might as well wait for some time before you opt for insurance. This would help you shop for your auto insurance at a lower price.

If you wish to get the best cheap car insurance plan, you should get in touch with an independent insurance agency. Try finding different insurance providers online using referrals or testimonials. You can also ask your friends or colleagues to refer you to a good insurance provider.  The best thing to do is look for different policies and providers and compare their benefits, rates, and other details to pick the most suitable one for your car.

Notes of Interest:

Full of Energy: Bucked Up Energy and its sister products will continue their role as the primary partner of Graf’s No. 07 Chevrolet Camaro this weekend. New Hampshire is the sixth race of 2021 but is the 28th race overall in a multi-year, multi-race deal with the former ARCA Menards Series winner.

Bucked Up is the everyman (or woman) energy drink. We don’t care about the color of your collar; whether blue or white, we all require energy to power our days.

We want something that tastes like success, enhances mood and focus, and most of all delivers long-lasting energy.

Bucked Up Energy New Flavors: Bucked Up Energy is now available in 10 different flavors including four recently released new flavors.

Gym n’ Juice pays homage to those classic west coast vibes with a citrusy, smooth flavor that is sure to drive you back to the early-coastal ‘90s.

Bucked Up Energy Strawberry-Kiwi features two delicious flavors fused to form one. The result — a zero sugar, solar-sweet source of energy so abundant the world might actually start revolving around you.

Pink lemonade prodigies innovate, fusing an otherwise basic beverage with refreshing cranberry, and thinly sliced lemons, for garnish — earning its sweet, refreshing, and jubilant. And yet, miraculously sugar-free taste.

Mango Tango tastes like a well-placed double entendre — two meanings, up to your interpretation. Perhaps, it’s a melodic, upbeat fiesta of juicy goodness pulling sultry-sweet dance moves on your tongue. Or we could be using Tango as code, letting you decide the most fitting “T” descriptive word.

Saving You Some Money: As summer has officially shifted into high gear, Joe Graf Jr.’s other marketing partner Z Grills wants to help the NASCAR community save money – but also enjoy the perfect barbecue.

In support of their recent partnership at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway last weekend, Z Grills Racing (ZGrillsRacing.com) is offering a 10 percent discount off your TOTAL purchase, using the code NASCAR at checkout.

New Leadership: SS GreenLight Racing announced last week that Joe Williams will take over crew chief duties for Joe Graf Jr. for the remainder of the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

Williams joins SS GreenLight Racing after a tenure at Our Motorsports. Additionally, Danny Johnson joins the Mooresville, N.C.-based team as car chief.

In their debut together last weekend, Graf charged his No. 07 Z Grills Chevrolet Camaro inside the top-20, before being shoved out on a late-race restart and settling for a 25th place finish.

Still, the finish was the team’s best effort since Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway in March.

A Pair of Birthdays: It’s been a celebratory week for the Graf family.

On Monday, July 12, Graf celebrated his 23rd birthday, while the following day, July 13, Graf’s younger teenage brother Ryan celebrated his 16th birthday.

To no one’s surprise, both exchanged sneakers as presents.

VIP Exclusive: Thanks to partner G-Coin, a product that brings gold into the digital age – race fans have an opportunity to win a VIP passes for a NASCAR Xfinity Series race of their choice.

To enter, follow @JoeGrafJr and @The_GCoin on Twitter, tag two friends and simply download the G Coin app to your mobile device. A winner will be chosen at the end of the month.

Joe Graf Jr. Xfinity Series New Hampshire Motor Speedway Stats: Saturday afternoon’s Ambetter Get Vaccinated 200 will mark Graf’s first career start at the “Magic Mile.”

The NASCAR Xfinity Series had planned to compete at New Hampshire last year, but the event was realigned to another race track due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Joe Graf Jr. Xfinity Series Career Intermediate Nuggets: At tracks greater than 1.0-mile in size, Graf has competed in 26 NASCAR Xfinity Series races. He holds an average starting position of 25.0 and an average result of 24.2.

Put Me In Coach: To strengthen his physique, Joe Graf Jr. began working with new trainer and former NASCAR Cup Series Josh Wise during the 2020 offseason.

In addition to Wise, Graf has also been working with former NASCAR driver and open-wheel driver Scott Speed on being more discipline behind the wheel of his No. 07 G-Coin Chevrolet Camaro.

Sneaker Mania: Along with the adrenaline of the Motorsports competition, Joe Graf Jr. also has a vogue for hype sneakers. In his current collection, he owns and wears at least 85 limited edition sneakers – and his collection continues to grow every month.

The current estimated value of his collection tops $90,000.

From the Pit Box: Industry veteran Joe Williams is Joe Graf Jr.’s crew chief.

He will crew chief his 51st NASCAR Xfinity Series race as crew chief on Saturday afternoon and his first at the 1.058-mile speedway.

In his previous 50 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, he has collected four top-five and 14 top-10 finishes.

Hello From The Other Side: Graf Jr. has a teammate at SS GreenLight Racing. Veteran JJ Yeley will drive the No. 17 Nurtec ODT Chevrolet Camaro on Saturday afternoon.

Yeley is set to make his 342nd career NASCAR Xfinity Series start and 10th at the Loudon, N.H. facility. His best Xfinity track finish occurred in the 2005 New England 200, where he finished sixth after starting 10th driving for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Joe Graf Jr. Pre-Race Quotes:

On Atlanta Motor Speedway: “Atlanta is a very unique race track, especially since the pavement is the oldest of any track that we race on throughout the year. It is going to be hot this weekend in Atlanta, which means the track will be slick, hopefully, we can use that to our advantage.

“I’m glad to have Z Grills back on the car this weekend and hopefully we can give them their best finish of the season on Saturday afternoon.”

On New Leadership: “I have a positive outlook on the second half of the season even though the results were not what we were hoping for to start the year.

“I will continue to work hard and give everything both on and off the track to enhance the overall presence and performance of our team and partners for the rest of the 2021 season.”

On Recent Performances: “Most of the first half of the season has been tough, however, it is during times like this that all your mental discipline and training really come to the forefront.

“I can’t stress enough the importance of mental toughness in overcoming obstacles you don’t control.

“When I look at the speed and balance of our cars this year, they are much better than last year. That isn’t from luck. That is from the hard work and grind it out mental toughness of this team.

“It’s such a shame that we have had such a rough stretch, but this is no different than life. We all experience highs and lows in life. Like anyone at a low point, we are going to remain mentally tough and keep moving forward. We embrace the suck. We know it can’t last.

“Going forward we are going to focus on what we can control and continue to execute at our highest level during the second half of the year. There are a ton of races left in the season and hopefully, we have shaken the bad luck. I would be worried if our cars lacked competitiveness, but they don’t. We have a lot of racing left and we are due for some good luck.”

When do I need to hire a car accident lawyer?

Photo by Clark Van Der Beken on Unsplash

Car accidents can happen to the best of us and often through no fault of our own. It can sometimes be a bit confusing as to what steps we should take next.

We have more questions than answers. Who should I call first? Can I handle this myself or do I need to call an attorney? It can overwhelm anyone, especially if severe injuries require extensive medical treatment.

After seeking medical care, contact your agent or automobile insurance company. They can help you with the first steps, such as filing a claim and obtaining a rental car.

However, even though your insurance company should represent you, they will often prioritize their own interests over what is best for you. If your insurance company cannot answer all your questions or address your concerns, consult an attorney.

One excellent option to consider is NicoletLaw.com. Based in Wisconsin with additional offices in Minnesota, they focus on car accident cases that involve injuries and offer free consultations with personalized service. After the claim is filed, they can help you negotiate a financial settlement to compensate you for injuries when your policy does not provide sufficient coverage.

Legal professionals are best suited to handle the lengthy and time-consuming process. They’ll give you all the details on what to do in a hit and run case so you can get the right compensation. These traumatic events can have a significant impact on your life, and it’s essential to have someone who understands the legal system by your side.

If serious injuries or a wrongful death took place, legal representation is crucial, as a lawyer can ascertain the facts, review your automobile policy, conduct a separate investigation, interview witnesses, and collect evidence.

Another question to consider is what to do if driver negligence caused the accident? This may include, among other things, driving too fast, distracted driving, or operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

A lawyer can also help you fill out all the necessary paperwork when filing a claim, deal with the automobile insurance company, and often increase the compensation that you receive.

Other issues can influence your compensation amount, such as pain and suffering, both physical and emotional, that you may experience from the accident.

If you cannot work due to your injuries, a lawyer can help you recover lost wages.

Remember that a lawyer should handle even minor accidents when significant vehicle damage or any injuries take place, or the police report contains errors. This will protect you from claims that have no merit.

Since most attorneys offer free consultations, if you are in a car accident, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by exploring all of your options with a car accident lawyer.
