Gibbs and Wallace finished first and second during the All-Star Open to automatically transfer into the All-Star Race while Gragson claimed the final starting spot based on achieving his second consecutive Fan Vote title.
The annual NASCAR Cup Series All-Star race at Texas Motor Speedway will headline the racing action this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway as 24 drivers compete for the $1 million prize.
The All-Star Race will take center stage Sunday evening as the top drivers compete for the opportunity to take home the $1,000,000 prize. It will be the 37th running of the All-Star race and the first time that Texas has hosted the event.
"To join dad in winning this event, heck, I mean, that's not just special, that's a lot of years and a lot of history for everything to come full circle like that," Elliott said. “It's pretty dang cool.”
