ADVANCE NOTES

Wallace at Michigan

Wallace will make his second career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Michigan International Speedway this weekend.

Wallace finished 15th in his first start at the two-mile oval in the June 2015 event.

Wallace previously made two starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) at Michigan, earning a best finish of 11th in 2014.

Recapping Pocono

Wallace improved 24 positions in the early stages of the scheduled 100-Lap event at Pocono Raceway on Saturday afternoon before rain forced NASCAR to call the race official just past the halfway point, leading to a 16th-place finish.

Seth Barbour at Michigan

Barbour will call his fourth NASCAR XFINITY Series race from atop the pit box at Michigan on Saturday. In three previous races, Barbour has recorded a best finish of seventh with 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series Champion Chris Buescher in 2013.

QUOTE WORTHY

Wallace on racing at Michigan:

“Michigan is a pretty cool track to race on. You can carry a lot of speed down the straightaways and really make some moves. I’m looking forward to getting there with our LoudMouth Exhaust Mustang and seeing if we can get Ford in victory lane in their backyard.”
