Erik Jones and his Furniture Row Racing team return to NASCAR Cup Series action this week in the GEICO 500 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway with a chip on their collective shoulder after their early exit from last Sunday’s race.

Did you know? Talladega Superspeedway is one of six tracks on the current Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) schedule where Chevrolet has 40 or more victories. Chevrolet eclipsed the 40-win mark at the 2.66-mile superspeedway when Dale Earnhardt, Jr. took his Chevrolet SS to victory at in May of 2015. Chevrolet leads all other manufacturers with exactly 40 wins at Talladega.

Richard Childress Racing's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series history at Talladega Superspeedway ... Richard Childress began his driving career at Talladega Superspeedway in 1969 and is in a tie for the most all-time car owner victories at the storied Alabama-based race track with 12 wins.

Fresh off a ninth-place finish at Richmond International Raceway, Aric Almirola and the No. 43 Fresh From Florida Ford team look to draft on that momentum heading to Talladega Superspeedway. Trevor Bayne will make his 13th Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) start at Talladega this weekend.

In nine career starts on restrictor-plate tracks in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Wallace has recorded two top-10 finishes with a best finish of sixth in the 2016 season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.

Reed at Talladega - In three NXS starts at Talladega, Reed has never started outside of the top-10 and has led a total of 37 laps.
