“I really like racing at Michigan International Speedway. It is a Ford racetrack so it is a big weekend for us since it’s in their backyard. We’ve also run pretty well the last couple of races there so I’m confident that Chad (Norris) and the guys will give me a strong No.6 AdvoCare Ford this weekend to get another win here for Ford.

But, the two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup winner, and former track record holder at Michigan International Speedway, has stats that prove that he is one of the most successful to race for "The King" Richard Petty.

The No. 43 @Smithfield team heads to @Ford Racing's home track @Michigan International Speedway with success under their belts. @Aric Almirola scored a win in the 2010 Truck Series race and Crew Chief Trent Owens finished runner-up four times in the Nationwide Series.

Roush Fenway Racing announced today that Ryan Reed’s No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop DiabetesSM presented by Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang will carry the American Diabetes Association’s Pathway to Stop Diabetes paint scheme this weekend at Michigan International Speedway.
